I've been a fan of South Park and their style of humor for many years. So when their first game came out in 2013 the stick of truth I was all over it! It was one of my favorite games of that year and it still holds up years later ( which is why I'm happy I got the Steelbook edition because you get it free.)
So when the sequel the fractured but whole got announced I knew I had to have it! It's the same raunchy style of humor South Park does so well with a new RPG combat system that is as addictive as it is fun! I cant recommend this game enough especially if you're a Gamers Club Unlocked member as the discount is just too great.

I love everything about this game. I reserve the perfect score for a master piece, and this is close. I love the humor, the character, the world, and the gameplay. I don’t have a negative thing to say, aside from the fact that the world feels smaller than the last game.

After playing Southpark and the Stick of Truth I wasn't sure how they would top it. Well they didn't top it....they blew it out of the water!!!! This game follows the kids right after Stick of Truth and starts a whole new story. If you like the shows humor, you'll LOVE this game. They change things up by switching from Lord of the Rings style to Marvel inspired Style. So don't forget to bring your towel as you cry and laugh playing this game. I give this game 10 Butters out of 10!

You know what South Park is. Vulgar, loud, in your face, and always uncompromisingly intelligent even at its most base, the show never ceases to be as crazy and wild and fun as it can be. The original South Park RPG, the Stick of Truth, kept up this mentality, and it offered a wonderful little JRPG style that completely took me by surprise. Intelligent, fun, action packed, with tons of items to equip, SoT was an absolute Game of the Year candidate a few years ago.
The Fractured But Whole is not. While the game may have way better graphics, music, and about 15 more hours than the 20-hour SoT, it lacks the fun and passion the first one had. The battle system is now of a slow, plodding strategy RPG sort, with short little Shining Force-like battles at every turn. While they're not entirely boring, the sheer lack of equippable armor and weapons-- literally none, all you equip are boring, personality-less accessories-- makes most battles in the game a plod, especially when you eventually are given access to *literally* every skill in the game later on. There's no real progression; you get to points in the story and you get more skills and abilities. That's it.
Good graphics and music can't get you past a slow, uninteresting story. A boring battle system is not going to help even in the face of better designed, better written characters. It's a noble try, and a lot of fun, but I can't truly say it's a masterpiece like the previous game...
...which FBH COMES WITH FOR FREE. Game changer! If you've never played either game, get this. Right now. You're getting dozens of hours of great gaming.
This game: 3 stars. SoT: 5 stars. Average score: 4 stars.

This is now the second title in this South Park RPG franchise and it is both very similar and improves on the first installment (the Stick of Truth). The game play is seemless the humor and satire is A+ the depth of character development and tactics is both truly fun and innovative. It is a great western take of a Turn Based RPG something that is sorely lacking as of lately in gaming.

As someone who regularly watches South Park, this game is a treat for me. All of the characters from the older episodes (Woodland Critters) to the newer seasons (PC Principal and Member Berries) are present. Some parts of the game are downright hilarious, others somewhat disturbing, but I expected this going into the game. The game plays very similarly to Stick of Truth, with parts from the newer season of the show (SoDaSoPa and Shi Tpa Town) being present. Long story short, if you enjoy South Park and loved the previous game, this is for you. If you don't watch the show but are looking for some comedy relief with strategic RPG elements, this is a fine choice as well. Only knock I have against the game is that the campaign felt a little drawn out (20 hours) and the ending was weak, but all in all it's an excellent Ubisoft game,

If you love the show and thought the stuck of truth was as hilarious, then you'll fit right in with this game. The gameplay is simple enough to understand and once you get past the grinding, the story will keep you glued. Assuming you want to laugh

They really hit it out of the park with this one. The humor is on-point and exactly what you would expect as a fan of the show. Gameplay is improved over the first as well. Cannot recommend more.

This is a great game to own and play but only for loyal South Park fans and anyone who played and enjoyed the previous game. It is largely the same - slightly better mechanics and new story. Not worth the upgraded version cost though.

I have never laughed so hard playing a video game. This game makes you feel like you are actually in a South Park episode hanging out with everyone from the main characters like Kenny, Kyle, Stan, & of course Cartman to other characters that you haven't seen in a while. If you are a South Park fan trust me you have to get this game and I guarantee you will laugh so hard from beginning to the end! Great job Ubisoft this game is a hit!!!

Matt Stone and Trey Parker have done it again. They’ve created an interactive way to join The Coon (Eric Cartman) and the gang to save South Park. It’s basically a really long episode/RPG that will have you laughing till the bitter end. There’s a slight correlation with the last title and the show however if you haven't played the Stick of Truth or seen the episode you should still have fun if you enjoy the series.
