Customers love the Adventurer 4G Kids Smart Watch for its GPS tracking, long battery life, and durability, making it suitable for active children. The watch also has a school mode to limit distractions during school hours, a camera for quick photos and video chatting, and clear call quality. However, some customers found the watch to be a little bulky and the initial setup process to be somewhat lengthy.

This watch is everything we've been wanting for our 9 year old! We had a bad charging dock, and within 24 hours of contacting the manufacturer, they shipped me a replacement! Great customer service!

Great product, but need to program carefully cause if you make a mistake, you have to 24hrs before you can try again. Recommend you also buy the two year warranty for $19.99

This watch made me the "coolest mom ever" according to my six year old. He will be taking the bus to school for the first time this year and I'm not ready to get him a cell phone. This was a great option to get him something fun and keep him safe. Set up and activation with the jumpysim was super easy. We have great coverage. I was able to quickly add his safe contacts and call quality is super clear. I love the option for school mode so he's not messing around with it and getting in trouble during the school day because I know it will be tempting. His favorite apps so far are the step tracker and the heart rate monitor. He thinks it's cool he can time his running laps with his watch and track how far he can run. He's just beginning to get the hang of reading so I can't wait until he can use the text feature more, it will be fun to see what he types. The flashlight feature is pretty neat and the camera is a nice addition. The charger is nice with the magnet on it to securely charge at night. The reminders to put it on the charger are good and the battery has been lasting all day.

I decided to go with the spacetalk adventurer after doing a lot of research on kids smart watches. Dont get me wrong, there are improvements that could be made in order to make the app a better user experience for parents. However, this is a neat little watch and it does what it was meant to do . Im able to control who my kids talk to, and im able to track them. I love that the SOS feature requires 2 swipes which makes it harder for them to accidentally send an SOS out. The watch looks huge when you first take it out of the box but it doesnt look obnoxious on my kids arm. All in all I'm happy with this purchase.

Easy for my son to use but the magnetic charging adaptor can be annoying because you have to find the perfect spot so it charges.

It’s a great option to keep in touch with your child. The only problem I have is that it’s not compatible with most carriers.

This watch out of the box is fairly large, while designed to go on the wrist of a child from around age 5-11 years. It’s size alone will fill, if not be larger than it should fit to a child’s wrist as it did our child. The bands are formed, in which they hold their curve, but even when placed on our kid’s wrist the watch did not fit right. There are lots of good notes within the manuals, quick instructions, and on their site to provide support on how to setup and get the watch in an operational state. Like how to install the SIM and do it easily. One key note was to remove the one of the bands in which proved how clunky this thing is. Each band sets similar to a fitness focused watch and very hard to remove. Initially it felt as though I broke the band that was closest to the SIM port. The sim port cover is very hard to remove because of the additional seal for waterproofing the watch that I can tell. I ended up using a coin to aide in removal of the cover. Once the new SIM was in, activation was not easy as there’s only a limited number of mobile providers this will work with and geared towards one primary provider “A#&#” network. This is noted, but I wanted to go with the current service provider I have for myself and family. After attempting my provider and another, I finally manually added network settings to the watch’s APN area and a phone call later got the watch online. The interface runs smoothly, but inconvenient when trying to type or do something manually to get the watch activated. Once activated, it’s ported over their app on your mobile device in which you gain control of all of the additional limited settings to provide to the child. It worked great in our area, with exception to other areas where service was not always available to the watch as there was service to my mobile. The watch is limited to 4G and did check that my phone was on a 4G network or lower that the watch is supported by when had service issues. The calls were pretty clear with some issues, service related. I was able to see my child when I wanted to with some delays in updates, may be due to the school at times as my service seems to fall while on campus also. Please note this watch is designed to be used within the US. It did cost me two extra things if would have planned to keep the watch online, but part of the initial cost was covered due to testing through Spacetalk. First, another monthly fee for a phone SIM, and second; an additional monthly fee that ties to their service. Anyone looking to purchase this, would have an initial upfront cost for the device, additional contract or monthly phone plan, a Spacetalk service plan, and then a continued service fee for the SIM provider and Spacetalk. I did a little extra research on this and the company is still up and coming, this seems to be their second kids focused watch while a third is avail for Senior Citizens. The device last about a day, use varying and will last longer than a full day. Charging is where my biggest issue is. The watch has this small little rectangular base to place the watch onto for charging and no notes that it will not be easy to set the watch on top of or on its side to charge using this base. Conveniently, the company sells a base stand for charging the watch…perhaps this should have just been included because trying to let my child place it on the charger to feel like an adult, they struggled just to get it to sit right, as well as I did. Removed the bands and viola; charged fine, but this is not something we want to have to go through each time we need to charge the watch and then return the bands each time we’re ready to use the watch. Overall, the concept is on the right track and will continue to get better in time.

Im very upset! I purchased this for my son Christmas of 2022. Well, my son has autism and I dont feel like hes still yet ready for a phone so I got the spacetalk watch instead. At the time I purchased my son was going through some behavioral issues after purchased which delayed my decision to activate the watch. This year, I finally seen major improvements with my son and felt he was ready. I've kept the watch all this time in perfect box condition, never been opened untill last week (April 2024). I took it to tmobile where I've been a customer for some years. Purchased the nano sim required for the watch and everything was fine for literally ONE DAY. Watch said it needed an upgrade... I clicked the "upgrade install". The watch went completely black like it was restarting and has never turned back on. The battery is completely charged. Everytime we hit the power it just vibrates twice and no screen action happens what so ever. Ive removed the sim and replaced... still nothing.. its never been droped, banged, damaged... nada! Very dissapointing. Im disappointed in myself for waiting so long because im sure they will deny me any replacement now that we are in 2024. If you all knew the condition I keep my electronics in (ocd) you would be just as fustrated as me. The thing was literally fresh out the box... well preserved. I dont get it....

This stopped working after a year of use and was told by the customer support that there is nothing they can do and will need to buy a new one. So if you would like to buy a new device after every 1 yr then go for it. it does have good features like video calling and Sos features. thats the reason we brought this but dont feel like paying for a new watch every year.

DO NOT BUY IT!! I already made that mistake, I got the plan and everything. I was able to set it up, but everything time I would charge it, it would start overheating. If i made a call it would overheat, my kid had that devise for less than 48hrs before I returned it.
