I love historically based movies. This one tops my list as one of the best movies/series I have ever seen. It kept you riveted to the seat to see what happened next eventhough most of us know how this story ended.

This season was amazing! The only season with the main actor who played Spartacus. He passed away from cancer(I believe) after the first season and was then replaced. RIP You were the best Spartacus!!

The 1st season to tell the tale of Spartacus. Done in an artful way, the series pulls you in and you only want more. Mixing action and drama with a little added flair sexy makes this series amazing.

Lots of nudity and violence, but that was prevelent in Ancient Rome. So this shows not for everyone. More of a Historical fiction loosly based on the life of Sparticus. Action is similar to the Movie 300.

After Black Friday special price. If you don't like bloody action or T and A don't watch. plenty of extras. cinematography and the pit are 2 to watch I haven't watched the other 3 seasons but I will.

This is one of my favorite series. The season gets better and better with each episode. The acting is great, and the way they speak is hilarious. The video and audio quality is great as well.

had a hard time finding this dvd at any other store online. some stores I don't trust due to being hacked. the price here at best buy also helped with my buying the dvd.

If you haven't watched this series yet, you don't know what you're missing. You will get hooked. Nudity and violence galore. All of the seasons were great, not just this one.

If you liked the slow motion blood splatter scenes in three-hundred, you'll love this show. If, like me, you hate that stuff, this is still a very good show, but you will be turning your head away every so often. There's a ton of adult situations, not a show for the faint of heart or youngsters. I think it's accurate for the time period, and is a highly entertaining show.

I just to watch every episode of these series on tv years ago and I enjoy watching them again I plan to buy all the tv series about Spartacus on Best Buy of course

I saw this originally on STARZ network and was hooked. Wanted to watch it from the beginning again. I also bought the rest of the series..... Great entertainment.....

This series is crazy!!!!! Romans and Greeks are just evil, but yet this series is AWESOME! You can't just watch one episode, you just gotta watch them all!

The story is good, the action is good. At the end of the season, I want to watch the next season right away to know what happens next. Defiantly recommend.

I love everything about Spartacus! If you thought HBO's depiction of ancient Rome was graphic and brutal, wait till you see Spartacus: Blood and Sand!

If you like this type of genre you will like Spartacus: Blood and Sand. Lots of action and good story and a good cast of actors. I highly recomend.

Great start got into the show right off . Think it could be as close as we'll ever get to what life was really like back then. Not for the kids!

Great movie that we had been looking for that wasn't edited. The price was good. I thought it would be over $20.

This was an incredible series with a Wonderful Actor in Andy Whitfield. HE is sorely missed, but created an unforgettable character

Spartacus Blood and Sand is a spectacular season of Roman gladiator life. It is one of my favorite all time TV series.
