The clip is a cheap clip.

Considering that it was on sale for a very reasonable price, made the purchase worth it. Otherwise we would have been very disappointed with the purchase. When in its standing position it feels very flimsy if you have it in your lap or anywhere other than a table top. It’s not the worst case I have seen but it’s far from the best. We ordered online so we were not able to see it before hand. If you have the chance to look at it before buying I recommend you doing so!
