The case has brand/patent markings on the buttons, which I'd rather they be clear. Fortunately, I haven't dropped my phone yet, so I can't comment on the drop protection.

Speck-Presidio clear case

I like the slim design and is not as bulky as the Otter Box. If one thing Speck could be better with, would be the grip of the case, The hard plastic doesn't have much grip and have to be careful when handling, so to not drop the phone.

I have have the presidio perfect clear case on my Apple iphone 12 pro max since the day I got it from its release date. I also have a zagg glass protector. I dropped my phone about 2.5 feet off the ground today. It presumed to hit the top of my foot which I was wearing a fluffy fluffy slipper then it fell face first on the floor in my home. Picked up my phone and the entire back screen is shattered. I am so mad, the whole point of investing in a “quality” case was to avoid this issue. Now I will have to pay what, $400 to have Apple repair it. Why should I incur that fee and or have to go on with a cracked iphone when the case did not do its job. Very disappointed.

If you drop them hard enough, from high enough, or at just the wrong angle, your device may still be damaged. I have used defender cases in the past but slips in and out of my pocket so much better. We got one for my wife as well, as she had the same issue. Protection seems to be quite good.

Well made case- but too slippery in hand

Unfortunately, I found the case to be too slippery for me. I returned it for a Speck Presidio 2 Grip.... much more to my liking.

My wife got a my int green iphone and likes the feel of this case, but found that the buttons can be difficult to press through the case.

That’s the only surface on the phone that’s not covered. Moreover, if you are not strong, I suggest not buying it because the side buttons are super hard to push.
