However, the back is separating. There is a thin layer on the back that is chipping away from the body of the case. Check the purchase date and the date of the review. Not too old, right? So, the quality is questionable.

The power button is stiff as well but not as bad. Speck has dropped the ball with this case. Being returned for a tech21 case.

The iPhone 12 max is always falling. Not to happy with this I should have returned it, but I couldn’t because I was in the hospital sick with COVID.

The case appears to be built well and does not easily scrach or show smudges. However, the buttons are another story. One has to push the button very hard to get it to engage with the iPhone buttons. I thought over time it would loosen up and become less of an issue. Unfortunately it has not. I will be returning this case. For the value it is a good buy and quality seems to be where I expect it to be. The ease of use using the buttons is where this product misses the mark for me.
