Good Protection. Crack above charging port. Nice color.

Product states it fits iPhone 8 plus but it doesn’t. It cracked trying to get it to fit. Even the opening for syncing cable has split

I've only had this case a couple days, so my rating does not yet consider it's drop protection. I work in the marine industry and have pretty specific things I look for in a case, until now I haven't found a case to replace my Commuter, my go to case for a long time but my one gripe is though awesome grip in the hand and great surface grip on the front, laid down on its back it's like a wet bar of soap. Saw a review of the Presidio Sport and ordered. LOVE it. Perfect for my use and needs far as I can tell so far. Feel in the hand is awesome and all-around great surface grip, plenty of lip, and love all the port protection, including individual speaker hole cutouts. I have NONE of the button issues many have encountered, buttons are super tactile and responsive no issue at all. I'd say an early rollout issue Speck will get more consistent with, I would highly recommend if you get a defected case have Speck replace this is just an awesome case when it's "right." My lightning port cover is very snug and bit of a chore to open like some have complained, but I get it open fine and not enough of an issue to me to knock a star. I'm sure it will break in a little over time and use. The true test will be in real use. I try to be careful, but the proverbial excrement happens sometimes, in the last year my phone has taken at least half a dozen HARD 6-8 ft. drops from the back of a boat on a trailer onto concrete, and other places around work where it sets on something that gets knocked into and flung around hard, and my Commuter and Zagg glass always saves the day. Eventually, this is going to take a hard drop and will update when I find out how it takes a hit. I'm pretty confident it will give similar protection as the Commuter. And the hi-vis Coast Guard red color is a nice bonus (they call it Poppy red, but this is exactly the same as Coast Guard red). Hope this helps.

This is the first Speck case that I have purchased and I think it's one of the best looking slim cases available. I really like the feel of the case and I think it offers good protection without being to bulky. I added a Zagg InvisibleShield for added screen protection as usual. As others have mentioned, I've found that there is a slight issue with the power button alignment. Mine works but it's more of a touch than a press for screen lock. I believe it's because the case was designed for the 7 Plus and the 8 Plus is slightly larger, making the case tighter? Either way, it's not a huge issue for me since the button will function. The volume buttons and mute/un-mute dial work perfectly. Overall, I'm very satisfied with my purchase!

Good protection and design for the price. Durable yet not overly bulky

I bought this because it was marked half off. It is a fantastic case for the iPhone 8 Plus (will also fit the 6 Plus and 7 Plus), It's protective and retains the form factor. The coating on it is also a nice touch and feels good in the hand. Works great with the controls, and it also has a neat little knob that turns the mute switch on the side off and on. For full price (49.99) I'm not sure if I would get it, which is why I am only giving it 4 stars. But if it's on sale? Grab it. The red and gray cases are also very sharp.

This is much different than all cases and that's what makes it great. It isn't made out of just hard plastic or just have grips on the side. The whole case is gripable with the super good looking microbial free surface they used. The red just shines like no other red phone case. Great buy.

I got the red one for my 8 Plus and I love it!! It has a wonderfully smooth silicone texture - similar to the Apple silicone case - the buttons are super easy to push and the little knob for the mute switch is really pretty cool! It looks great, fits perfectly and protects my phone as expected! My new fave!!!

Effective protection and bright color for visibility. The ring/vibration button somewhat unusual and the protective cover over the charging connection was difficult to manipulate (could be cut off). I like it and will keep using it.

This case fits and feels great on the iPhone 8. Not bulky but feels like it will protect it and nice and grippy.

I think this is a very well built case. I like the profile and the grip. However, I'm not convinced that it is worth the non-discounted price. If you are eyeballing this case, wait until you can get it on sale. Then, you won't be disappointed.

Bought this for the iPhone but one of the buttons wasn’t working. Make sure to check the functionality of your case before throwing away the box. Color was good and felt solid.

I love the case it is sleek and the color is great but the only reason that I would give it 4 stars is the cover over the charging plug gets stuck at times and it is a hassle trying to stick your nail to open it

Sturdy case. Have dropped phone a few times with no issues. Has gripping on sides and back that make it harder to fall thru your fingers. Highly recomend.

Great looking case that seems to protect my phone. Only issue I have is the buttons on the side do not always line up with the phone buttons causing me to have to take the case off and put it back on.

I like that the case is slim and is easy to retrieve when my phone is in my pocket. Would’ve given five stars but the nonslip cover also likes to collect dust. Still great protection for my phone.

The case itself is solid and most of the functionality is good. However, the mute/unmute turn dial does not seem to stay in position so it doesn’t properly turn phone ringer back on when turned back. Power/screen lock button is very sensitive, but it was just something I needed to adjust to over time. Overall it’s a solid choice to protect your phone!

Slim and it protects my phone from accidental drops! Does what it is supposed to do!
