The grips used to be on the sides and the back. But this S23 version only has grips on the sides and then inverted grooves on the back. The new material is a tad more slippery and matte. Still a decent case, but would prefer the old design.

Unfortunately, it's slippery and has no grip, so I think I'd be much more likely to drop it. Returned for something different.
