I gave it three stars because of the following. It looks really nice because its clear. So it looks like youre holding your mac with no cover. As soon as I put it on, some pieces started coming off. I would have returned it but this is the only case that anyone has that is see through. Not only that, it took Bestbuy a couple of weeks to get this to me. Too much of a hassle to get a new one so Ill suck it up.

The case offers great protection without being bulky.

When I first opened the box I wasn't that happy but once I put it on I loved it. Great quality and looks so pretty!!!

This cover works great and looks good. It adds a little weight, but mine is all scarred up, so clearly it was needed.

THIS PRODUCT HAS BEEN VERY GOOD FOR ME SO FAR. FEELS STURDY, WAS EASY TO PUT ON AND LOOKS GREAT. I WOULD BUY THIS BRAND AGAIN.

I noticed there were cracks in every corner of the case soon after installing. I am very careful with my MBP and i don't transport it very often but today i just noticed a piece from the top corner has fallen off. No clue how when my MB has been safely sitting on my desk. I'm disappointed. As a student i don't have extra money to waste on buying cases every other month. Oh and the case had scratches all over it when i bought it.

Fits like a glove and has held up well to the daily use of a teenager. Wish there were more color options available.

I've had this case maybe 3 weeks and it's broken. It fit well and seemed like it would protect my MacBook well. It's ridiculous that I have to buy a new case after only having this one for less than a month. Would not recommend. Glad I got it on sale for half the price because it is definitely not worth the full price.

I haven't even had the case for a month and pieces of it are breaking off. My laptop is almost always in my carry case or sitting on my desk. I've done nothing abnormal with it nor have I done anything that would damage it. I would not recommend getting this case. It's not worth the time or money. It's supposed to protect the laptop, but right now, my carry case is doing that more than this case is.

I bought this for my Mac Pro and it makes it easier to distinguish from others in the family.Plus it is pretty.

The color is so pretty! I like how this case is shiny instead of that matte feel that the other cases have.

I love the idea of this slim case from speck but after one month of pulling it in and out of my book bag the plastic chipped off one corner and began to crack across the top. It still functions as it should but the crack keeps getting bigger. I have not looked into getting a replacement yet. Not sure if it's just a fluke or a problem I usually have not issues with the speck brand.

The case for the MacBook Pro is very easy to install. It gives great protection and is good looking.

An excellent case for a Macbook Pro. Good material, The bottom is non-slip. The case fits great.

I bought this case just over a year ago when I bought my Macbook Pro. I wanted a useful case to help diminish on any chances of damage since I often take my laptop to class and around campus. About two months ago, I went to hang up my backpack on a hook in the restroom, and my bag fell off from the door hook, right onto the tile floor. In a huge panic, I immediately checked my computer. I am convinced that if it were not for my Speck case, my laptop would have been severely damaged if not ruined. Although the bottom portion of this case broke and is unusable, it saved my laptop from severe damage; which, is exactly why I bought it. So, I have now bought this case for the second time because I know that it will keep my laptop safe!! With this being said, it is also very durable; it only broke from an extreme situation. I also highly recommend Speck phone cases. Speck has saved my butt so many times!

I really love this dark teal color! I bought this case for two reasons- First, because I needed a durable case to protect my laptop. And second, Best Buy was running a sale price on it for 1/2 the original cost. All in all, I'm happy with my purchase!

I would prefer to have more variety of colors but for what it is intended to do its great!

It works not really that strong . I had my MacBook on a flight and bumped the corner of it . The case broke on the spot and had to throw it away.

Although the fit and look is good, the corners are not very durable. They crack and break off.
