Unlike a lot of cases this one has a lock for the cover over the Glass and locks in place to protect it. it will also work as a stand for movies and has a hard plastic back that is very protective, my 3 year old tends to throw my wife's IPad in this case and although it scratches it that is the worst that has happened so far.

This one-piece folio-style case with a nice finish may be a better solution than Apple's two-part offering, which uses a separate shell and smart-cover. A latch helps keep the case securely closed when you're not using the iPad mini. Unlike the smart-cover, however, the display will not automatically turn off when you close the case, so keep your Auto-lock times short to avoid leaving the display on when not in use.

I chose this cover because I wanted something thin and lightweight that would also provide adequate protection. This cover does all of that. The only drawback is when it's flipped to its 'stand up' position the iPad is 'upside down' from its normal position. Otherwise I'm very happy with this cover.

I bought a new Kindle and needed a protective cover for it. When I saw this one I fell in love with the design. It is an map of the world in an old style. When I read I feel like I'm travelling the world and this cover is just the right touch. And, behold, it protects my device...just what it is supposed to do!

This product is excellent for the mini iPad 4. It is a nice color and has a safety clasp which is great because this iPad is activated upon opening the cover. It has numerous slots for standing it up so you can view the iPad at different angles.

Can't complain about this product for the price. There are slightly better products out there, but their prices are much more. For 12 dollars you can't beat this. I was looking strictly for fit and protection and this does the job.

Not one to toss an expensive piece of gear in my bag bare, I researched and bought this case when I picked up my iPad mini4. It did not disappoint! Easy on, easy to use, and I'm confident my mini is safe - even amidst the rest of the miscellany in my purse.

I'm quite impressed with this case in that the quality, strength, and design is above what I expected. It surpasses some of the more expensive cases out there. If you are looking for a simple, affordable, and well designed case, Speck has got you covered.

Positive: This case is very cute. I love the vintage black and white floral pattern on the front of the case. The boysenberry color on the back gives the perfect color to balance the case out. The love this style Speck case as it also has a latch that does not allow the cover to flap back and forth across the iPad. Its a great case and the second one I have purchased. I would recommend this case to anyone as it is a good and sturdy case at a great price and many colors.

We actually bought two of these and returned one. This will only fit the Mini 4... the older tablets (Mini 3 and 2) are a little thicker and won't fit. Overall its a nice case that provides a decent amount of protection and style.

I have been using this case for a little over a month, and so far, I have no complaints. It can be a little tricky to get the ipad into the case, but rest assured, this case DOES fit the ipad mini (I see a few reviewers stating the opposite). There is a short video on the manufacturer website that shows the correct way to put the case on. My only fear is that the closure clasp will eventually break - it feels a bit flimsy. But so far, so good. No problems. The case adapts great for reading and watching videos. I haven't dropped my ipad yet (knock on wood), but the case does seem to offer so basic protection. It is a nice case for the ipad mini 4.

This is a great case for the iPad Mini 4. Its fits perfectly and the kind of case I've been looking for. It would have costed upwards of $80 for the silicone case back and the smart cover combo when this combines the both of them for less than $40. The only negative thing about this case was that it stated that it had a magnetic cover that tuns off the screen, and unless I'm missing it entirely, I'm not seeing it.

Looking for a case that would protect my husbands new iPad mini 4 and Speck products have always been his favorite and this one also has a stand built in . This was a great choice and my husband is really pleased with it.

The case fits my iPad Mini 4 perfect. It stands at different angles and doesn’t slide. The only thing that I don’t like so much is the clip that keeps the front cover closed. It is very tight, which is nice for keeping it closed, but almost too tight and a bit hard to get open sometimes. The floral pattern is very pretty and looks exactly like the pictures. I’ve dropped it a couple times in this case and it’s protected it so far.

It's a simple protection to iPad mini. It does what it's supposed to do, given the low price (I got it for 13 bucks). There's apparently better ones out there, but for the bucks, it's ok with me.

I got this case for my daughter & she loves it. It clips closed to protect the iPad when not in use & has multiple ways you can set up the iPad when it is open. Also love the colors; not too dull & not too bright.

This is a great case at an affordable price. It's light weight, and it provides great protection for my iPad Mini. This case is flexible enough to stand my tablet up, which allows me to type.

This is my 3rd iPad and 2nd mini. Being that I have an all-in-one fully loaded HP, a MS Surface Pro 3 w/ pen & keyboard, and iPhone 6s Plus along with Apple Watch... Let's just say that traveling personally and for the company can be a bit trying when you have as many gadgets as I do. But if nothing else, my iPad mini 4 has the capacity and strength to do what needs to be done both work wise, academically and even in my leisure. (Word is bond) I only shop at Best Buy for my gadgets... Best prices and price matching is awesome. Being an elite member has its perks :). But overall I love, love, love my iPad mini 4! Fits in any of my handbags/backpacks without issue. Great battery life and just so slimming/lightweight.
