Mostly good so far. I haven't pushed it hard yet, but I am mostly happy with the purchase. I didn't realize how much I would miss having multiple USB ports or an HDMI/VGA connection for my external monitor, but I am looking into getting a c-port hub. The screen sometimes wobbles when I am typing, but not horribly, I see similar movement on friends computers (Lenovo Yoga and Surface Book). I have had some problems with programs popping up very small and haven't found a way to fix that yet. When I have these problems the drop down menus are very tiny and hard to read, but files open normally. So oeverall, mostly good but a few annoying issues that I hope to find work arounds for soon.

High Specs, Poor Performance

Don't be fooled by its prestigious features.
I have owned this model for 7 months. The original purpose was for editing 4K videos and it's now (and has been for 6 months) used for normal laptop tasks (web browsing, music, homework, etc) for few good reasons:
While it boasts 4K resolution, this junk certainly cannot handle the high resolution for long (let alone handle running a couple of editing (Sony Vegas, Photoshop) programs at once), leading to searing overheating status within seconds, compromising smooth performance and battery life.
Touch screen is mediocre at best and the the pen calibration is subpar. Took this laptop to lecture for note-writing (cause hey since it can't run high performance, it might still have some use as a notebook alternative, right?). Well, nope. Not even that feature is reliable. Parts of the screen do not register finger touch and pen. Pen sensitivity was lacking. Pen strokes were either of one thickness or none, regardless of pen pressure. Despite the Corning Gorilla glass, it felt like writing on plastic. Imagine my frustration when I couldn't even properly take notes in class using this thing.
Ultimately, I had to dumb down the resolution to 1080p to prevent overheating and smoother performance. Take handwritten notes with a real pen and notepad rather than with this useless piece of rubbish excuse for ease of convenience.
TLDR: Trust me, save your money. While this model certainly has a sleek light-weight design, that's all it has for it. Easily overheated, fan issues, poor touch sensitivity, and everything else that a normal laptop can offer. Might as well opt for a cheaper non-touch screen alternative without all the fancy shmancy if you're considering this model.

Bought this to replace a Lenovo Yoga 710 that had a very awkward keyboard layout. This little HP Spectre 360 is a dream! It is lightweight, very fast, and a joy to work on. I am very pleased.

This Spectre is a great size and very light weight. The battery life is not anywhere near what they say if you are using it for the internet. I think if maybe you were just using to type papers and things of that sort, it would last longer. Storage is great, and make sure to keep in mind how much space the system itself takes when looking at how many GB's you will need. The darker color is nice, it just kinda blends into my lap. I had originally purchased the 15.6", but found it a little to big for my needs. When the 15.6" sat in my lap, I felt the screen wanted to tip the laptop back, which was a pain. All in all, I would recommend this laptop.

Perfect for traveling, mobile computing.
Backlit keyboard is very useful. Has enough memory to grow with apps.
Solid state drive for storage is adequate and USB ports are 3.0 with charging capabilities. Has 1 - 2.0 USB. Fingerprint reader.

It has been just over a month of usage and this laptop/tablet 2-1 continues to impress me. I use it for a combination of programming (mostly server side, Java) and photo editing (DXO Photo Lab and Adobe LR) along with general browsing/document editing. This is a wonderful device for all those activities. The 4K screen is gorgeous and the processor powerful enough. The laptop gets a bit hot under heavy use but I was aware of it before I purchased - not a big issue for me but something to be noted.
The priced dropped by $50 after I puchased and BB made it easy to get the difference refunded to my credit card.

Solid laptop. Everything HP markets about this thing is true. Fast, runs cool, screen is great, responds well to windows creator/ink. All of my notes are in onenote now (handwritten with a surface pen). Only problems are the amount of unused space. Bezels on screen are big, keyboard doesnt span the whole laptop, and the charger must use the giant block. Honestly, pack everything the 13in does onto the 15 inch and it becomes the perfect laptop. Superior to yoga, dell, and surface pro. Surface book 2 is a better rig, hands down, for almost double the price, and not double the value. The Book 2 is just a smarter design.

The hp spectra is a well rounded, slim but powerful piece of 2 in 1 machinery. Hands down the best hp I ever owned. Granted there's no Ethernet cable input, it's still a fine machine. It lacks a disk drive soooooooo looks like youre not disk installations of any type. Super fast load up... of course over time, hp will slow it down just like Apple and Samsung do their devices.. But. It's currently pretty dang quick. It's response time is extremely rapid and operates multiple tasks with ease. However, it's gets pretty hot pretty quick too. Not hot enough to burn you but I wouldn't recommend having it on your lap.
