Great light weight laptop. Screen is excellent, battery lasts most the day. Only complaint is the left shift of the keyboard to accommodate new keys on the right. Why they had to mess with a perfect keyboard this model used to have gets them 4 stars instead of five.

Nice laptop. Beware it runs super hot. Within the first 2 years the battery swelled and is separating the laptop.

This is a sleek laptop that is easy to use and set up. The privacy screen function is very helpful. My prior laptop was a Lenovo Yoga that was subject to the preinstalled spyware, which I despised. I was dismayed to find that HP had preinstalled spyware and a keylogger on this and other laptop models based on online reports, although I was able to remove them based on the information from those reports.

Great computer! I love the ability to flip the screen around and use as a touch-screen tablet. Very fast! I also love the look of it - like a MacBook

Purchased this for my wife to replace her 2012 MacBook Pro 13". We had researched a lot of options, including the Spectre 13, Dell XPS 13, ThjnkPad X1, and MacBook Pro 13". After narrowing the search to this laptop and the new MacBook Pro, this was the laptop she landed on, with the primary factors coming down to the pen and the price. The price difference between this model of the x360 and a comparable 13" MacBook Pro is about $1,000. Combined with the fact that the new MacBook keyboards seem to be focused on short typing spurts (as opposed to work marathons), and the 13" Spectre x360 just seemed like the much better deal. The two items holding this review back from five stars are the factory trackpad driver and the lack of storage for the HP Pen. The trackpad driver can be replaced with the Microsoft Precision driver (and you can adjust settings and sensitivity, too), but my wife wishes that HP included a magnetic retention point for the pen on the laptop. HP includes a leather sleeve for the laptop that has a spot for the pen, but my wife doesn't use the sleeve because it's a little cumbersome to take the sleeve out of her bag and then also remove the laptop from the sleeve. It would also be nice if the resistance on the screen hinge was just a little bit higher; sometimes when you're on the couch and the laptop gets jostled a bit, the screen will pivot unnecessarily. Overall, my wife is pleased with this laptop. The MacBook gets slightly better battery life for her usage and it has the superior trackpad, but $1,000 is a lot to pay for just those two small benefits. She doesn't have a particular preference towards macOS, so Windows 10 is just fine for her, and the ability to flip the laptop into a tablet and use it to write down notes is appreciated.

I exchanged a Dell computer of similar specs, which had a number of issues. I've had an HP Spectre with pretty much these specs before, and I'm not sure what I was thinking trying a change of brand. This machine is, in a word, FAST! It processes everything with blazing speed/responsiveness, and has no issues whatsoever. I use my laptops almost exclusively as desktops, so whenever I purchase a new computer (which is fairly frequently), I'm looking for top-of-the-line at a budget-friendly price. This 2-in-1 delivers on both fronts. You will not be disappointed, HIGHLY recommended!

powerful & pretty, but not the best touchscreen

With the 16 GB memory and 512 GB storage, this thing can handle a good amount. It will kick into overdrive and start the fan going sometimes though, even when it doesn't seem like i'm doing that much. The fan is admittedly, quite loud. I found the touchscreen to be good enough, but not great. The pen that comes with it is definitely not amazing. Clunky and awkward. With another pen the screen might be better. I love that this can be adapted into different positions. With this size, it is awkward to use as tablet, but it is a nice option. I recommend investing in one of those foam triangles to prop it up on your lap in tablet mode. The screen is very crisp. Great for watching. However it is smaller than the entire upper part, unlike competitors like the Dell XPS. This works out well in tablet mode so you don't hit things accidentally but may be frustrating for some who want a bigger screen. I like the keyboard because it extends almost to the edge, making it more natural to type on. I am disappointed with the trackpad though. It is a tad slow to respond and is big enough I find myself accidentally moving my mouse while typing. (I'm used the small and very responsive Macbook air trackpad.) Overall I find this to be a powerful machine that looks almost as good as it performs. I think a microsoft surface might improve on the two areas I found fault with, but for the price this machine is great.

I'm still getting used to using finger screen scrolling instead of the mouse pad. In the long run I'm sure this 2-in-1 feature will be much better. The only thing I don't like is the fingerprint reader on the side. It's not always easy to place my finger there and there is not a dimple or ridge to locate my finger properly, so I have to end up entering the I

The HP Spectre X360 is a good computer. Display is great, keyboard for the most part is great, good key travel. The privacy filter is weird, getting use to it took awhile, but it really does block out views from almost everybody who's not sitting directly in front of it. I like the 2-1 aspect for when I just want to watch media. As a computer electronically it's great, the minor issues are keyboard easily can get specs of dirt under the keys or food or anything. Trackpad is a little big for my taste, the rubber on the bottom will come off because the computer runs so hot it practically melts the adhesive. Sound is not bad, I've never really had fantastic omg speakers so I don't have much to compare them to. Battery life is shorter than it claims but not too bad if you don't plan on being far from your charger for say more than 2-3 hours at most.

God price for the performance and lightweight. Touchscreen nice feature and works well with the included pen for signing, making notes, and drawing. Use as primary as no need for separate desktop when using andocking station.

This 2:1 is perfect. Lightweight, comfortable keyboard, lightening fast speed, great screen resolution. One feature I do not like is that the fingerprint scanner is on the side. It makes it difficult to read - maybe I am a beginner and am not doing it right, but it should be on the top/flat surface of the machine. Otherwise, it is fantastic.

First off I must say I bought an "open box" item. It was flawless and in perfect condition. This PC is a BEAST! It'll do anything you ask it to with TRUE all-day battery life. I run some very large data sets through some complex stuff and it keeps up no problem. I do not do any video editing so I am unsure of graphics performance. The pen performance is amazing, accurate, and fun! The only things I wish was better was the quality of the keys on the keyboard and trackpad feel. They feel cheap, which I'm sure is to make sure this laptop is feather weight, but I still don't love it. It doesn't affect performance though so it is just a personal preference.

This is replacing my hp laptop that I’ve had for 7 years with no issues. So far I’m very pleased. It is fast, easy to use, and looks good too. The biggest complaints from others were getting too hot and weak hinges, it doesn’t get any warmer than any laptop should after constant use (hardly noticeable) and the hinges do allow the screen to wobble if bumped but they hold the position and the screen remains in the same place it was set. My only critique is that it only has 1 USB port. It does have 2 thunder ports, but you have to buy a hub to use more than 1 usb device at a time.

This laptop is pretty good, its much lighter compared to my 17 inch but still not feather light. BUT 30 days in to having my laptop and 2 weeks after actually using it, it stopped charging. There is an issue with the power cord. But I got a new cord and it works fine. Haven't encountered any other problem.... if this charging problem happens to you just have them give you a new charging cord a full send away inspection of the computer is not necessary. Also I haven't figured out the pen just yet.
