The design is very pretty, The display is very sharp and with the solid state hard drive boot up is really fast.

This was a big upgrade from our 7 year old laptop. Fast, simple to set up, good battery life. Feels like a good quality machine, I'm liking the touch screen, which I didn't think I needed. We're not trying to do anything too complex on it, but it works great for school work, internet stuff, music, photos, etc.

I love my purchase. The laptop was everything I was looking for- small, lightweight, but powerful. Highly recommended.

As stated in the title, this laptop is thin, light, sleek, and fast. The keyboard action is excellent, and the screen is clear, crisp, and bright. The touchpad is responsive and works well. Although I haven't extensively used the laptop in tablet mode or ink yet, it's good to have. I'd buy it again.

I’m enjoying the easy of using this laptop. It’s light weight makes it easy to carry around.

So far so good. Good battery life for using it most of the day without a charge. Like that it came with a pen and did not need to pay extra. Nice screen size and like the touch screen.

Everything in this laptop functions as advertised. However, after nearly two weeks the upper right speaker started crackling. I can still use the speakers but it's limited to about 42/100 before it begins crackling. I already tried downloading/updating the browsers, but it is definitely the speakers. After doing further research I learned that others have had this issue too. I have another friend with the same laptop and she has the same speaker problems. Her husband however, does not. So it's almost a 50/50. I would still recommend the laptop but with a heavy warning regarding the speakers.

This has been an amazing work tool for my wife. amazing performance and battery life, and the 2-in-1 function creates all kinds of flexibility for use!

Found this at a “local” Best Buy as an open box item marked down like 50% due to missing stylus. Surprise! Stylus was included. This thing is blazing fast has handled everything I’ve thrown at it without a problem. Doesn’t get five stars because it has soldered ram, at 8gb I would of like at least 16gb. Also, took a week and a half to register windows 10. Pretty frustrating because I couldn’t add programs I needed until registered, which turns out is a popular problem with windows. Now it’s registered and runs perfectly.

Great laptop for its specs! Works as expected and is fast and lightweight. I love the design and it has been working perfectly. Will be buying another HP Spectre in the future.

Very slim, very fast laptop! Feels great typing. Sometimes heats up if in my lap too long. Would definitely recommend.

I had bought this, and I thought I was going to love it. However, I was doing my research once I got home and I found too many potential problems that may affect this line. I didn't even open it, I returned it due to not wanting to take a risk for a computer of this cost. I need something to last me 4-5 years. I had swapped it for the Spectre Folio, and initially, I had written a good review it was working fine, but then all of a sudden the trackpad was acting up, and the system was running very slow and froze once even and overall the bloatware on the HP Folio was too much for me. It had to go back to the store. A device at that price shouldn't freeze in my opinion. So, unfortunately, the HP products didn't work for me. I really wanted to love them. They didn't have this particular model on display at the store where I got it from. That being said, I think three stars is pretty good since its neither good nor bad since I officially didn't try it out beside the newer model in the store with new lines in the body. On the flip side, this laptop is significantly faster than the HP folio due it being quad core vs dual core, however, I will never know if I loved the product or not. All I can say is do your research and make an informed decision.

So far very impressed!! Super light and thin. I use it for photo editing and have found it very fast. The resolution is awesome too!!

I bought this laptop for my daughter who is majoring in computer science at college. She needed something that was light weight and had decent processing power. The touch screen helps her discuss programs with her comp-sci buddies.

Spectre is the best laptop I could ever get for my coding. It is a high speed , light weight and very easy to use laptop.
