Fast forward 10 years and he stills enjoys them and can’t wait for the new movie to come out on the 15th. He’s been wanting this BB8 droid since his birthday in February and I grabbed it for $100 with the wrist band. Awesome deal! He’s going to love it!

The app is better than using the force band. The updates for the force band can take a few hours. Doesn't work the best on on carpet, need a little push to get going. Not bad if you get it on sale.

Others have complained about the "head" following off when bumping into objects. This has not happened with mine, yet I do not run it full speed into things. Can be sluggish at times to get moving, yet I would still recommend. Have not tried the wrist command module. Cheers.

Its full of character, and all his friends want to play with it when they come over. The app is easy enough to use... It took a little while to figure out how to configure it, but once we did, it has been a blast. The force band makes all the experience worthwhile.

The control were easy and she loved the special edition bb8. The force band is not required but she completely geeked out by using it. She did say it was the best gift ever.

||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.My son loves bb-8 since we went to Playfair we were going to get the big interactive bb-8 by Spinmaster but when we heard that Sphero released a special edition bb-8 with a force band we checked it out and he loves being able to control bb-8 with his force band it takes a while and after a few tries you get the hang of it so he has him following him around.
