I can’t tell if it’ll scratch it over time. Other than that, it’s a great case and I Do recommend it.

If you know you want this aesthetic or brand, are ok with the loss of magsafe compatibility on magsafe stands, and are ok with the fact that it feels like you’ll break your airpods lid taking it out the case for whatever reason, then go ahead and buy this. I however, will be returning this.

Because it’s loose fitting, dirt and dust gets in so the body of the AirPods are already scratched. It’s okay, I guess. I’m going to have a case on for the life of the AirPods because they keep sliding out of my pocket without, but I’m already feeling like I should return these and find something else. Keep if you’re into quirky designs.

They slide out of the case whenever you open the lid. And the adhesive for the lid isn’t great either. But the material feels durable. That’s probably the only good thing.
