This DLC for Splatoon 2 will challenge your skill level at the game, regardless of how experienced you are. However, for $20, it's a great way to improve your skills and get more out of the game. Many of the levels are challenging and push you to the limit. But it's important to try different tactics at completing them, especially when you might fail levels one too many times. Whereas the base single-player mode mainly taught you how to play regular multiplayer battles, the expansion also touches upon the game's ranked battle modes. The story of the expansion itself was pretty ok, but it was more interesting than that of the base game. Overall, if you've played a lot of Splatoon 2, but want more of a interesting challenge, along with hours of fun, then definitely take a look at the Octo Expansion. Plus, you'll be rewarded in the end.

It’s amazing thank value you get for this expansion. It adds a ton of content and the difficulty can really ramp up.

This game is so much fun. The expansion pack adds so much more dimension to the game. I recommend it if you love the game!

The octo expansion is a great add on for splatoon 2. The levels are surprisingly challenging right from the get go, but it always seems fair. The levels are distinct from those in the main campaign, so its not just more of the same. Given that, as well as all the gear you unlock and getting to play as octolings when you're done, this is a must have for splatoon2 fans.

Here's the thing. I love Splatoon. Adore it, so anything that adds more to Splatoon is gonna get 5 stars in my book. If you have Splatoon then you know what I am talking about. I feel that the content added was worth the asking price. Grab it now, and I'll see you online.

Very easy to download/install/use. My daughter loves Splatoon 2 and this expansion gave her some really fun extra exploration and a weapon as a reward for completion. Very fun but only good in her case for a single play through. Still, she had to have it and enjoyed it, so I am happy with my purchase.

This is a DLC expansion for Splatoon 2. it adds to the story and world of Splatoon, so if you are interested in that stuff it is worth it. If you do not want to play the single player, I wouldsay the expansion is Not worth it

Good for the price, only disappointment is the fact that you needed to pay for it separately and it did not come with the original game, though that's more of a complaint for the original base game as opposed to the DLC. Stages can be a bit difficult as well.

I began playing Splatoon 2 almost 2 years late. I have no idea what took me so long! It's a great game to play online and the single player game is actually also challenging and fun. I haven't even started this expansion, but I'm sure when I do, it will have me hooked for hours!

A new challenging single-player campaign for Splatoon 2. Cool neon aesthetic with tons of 80s-90s references scattered about. Not much fluff going on, you really just jump straight into levels and keep the fun going.

It’s Splatoon, need I say more! I think I have purchased the expansion bundle for three different switches in my household. This is a must carb if you’re actually into the game.

The Octo expansion is very fun to play! Although the levels seems to be a little more challenging (at least to me), they are rewarding when finished.
