Only works on full price memberships. You would think that it works as credit in your account but no. It only pays for a month of full price membership. Shame.

Spotify is a great music streaming service with pretty much any song you can imagine. The premium version allows for higher quality audio, no ads, and offline play on mobile devices. That last perk is the reason I have spotify, as I can listen to my playlists in the car without using data. This is a gift/subscription card for $30. It should be noted that it's not dollar for dollar value. The $30 card gives you 3 months of premium, so essentially the $9.99/month plan. If you have a discount such as student plan or family plan, this card does not give you $30 in cash value.

The Spotify gift card makes it easier for me to manage what accounts I have paid. I like to buy the gift card ahead of time to avoid using my credit card as a payment method. I have also bought this gift card as a birthday gift because you can never go wrong with a gift card.

I bought the Spotify $30 Gift Card. First, realize that you are not getting a Gift Card that is really worth $30. You are really getting 3 months of Membership. Next, I bought this for my son but he couldn't use it because he has a Student Membership. Student Memberships are only $4.99 and this is NOT a $30 Credit but a 3 Month $9.99 a month gift card. Spotify offers no way to use these Gift Cards for Student Membership so don't buy these cards for a Student. You also can't use the gift card for any special offer they might be running because again it's only good for the regular $9.99/month Membership. Spotify needs to work this out and just have regular value Gift Cards so anyone can use it. I'm sure people buy these for high school and college kids not realizing they can't actually use them. However Best Buy did allow me to return the Gift Card for store credit since I had my receipt. Ordering on line was quick and shipping was free but I returned it to a local store. I won't be buying these again.

This is a great gift as a stocking stuffer for the music fan in your friends/family! the best thing about SPOTIFY is that it analyzes what you listen to and then creates a playlist every week (on Mondays - great way to make the beginning of the work week more bareable)!

Spotify has probably the largest music library of any streaming service. It's a good idea to buy gift cards via Best Buy, as Best Buy gives you points to earn on the gift card purchases. In addition, a good way to use Best Buy rewards is to buy gift cards with them.

Bought this as a gift for friend to start her off with her Amazon echo. Love using Spotify on demand now to choose songs. Buying this gift card from Best Buy was so easy and better than adding my credit card on line!!

This gift card is not eligible for redeeming on most plans other than an individual account at the regular price 9.99 a month and also will invalidate a free account trial. Don’t get this rip off.

ONLY GOOD FOR 6 MONTHS OF SPOTIFY PREMIUM. Bought this as a gift for Christmas for my student daughter. Spotify ONLY allows the $60 card to be used specifically for a FULL price subscription, and not for a student account or any other special account that you can think of. And must be used within 12 months. Useless cardboard at this point.
