The card was not activated prior to shipping. Thia was a birthday present so it was disappointing.

So that’s why it’s called “Spotify” Don’t get me wrong, the musical library this app has is what made me a huge fan from the beginning, but being able to access it all is something TOTALLY different. I wanted to get a full refund on this purchase. However, I knew it would be a hassle and they’d fight me on it so I took the “L”. I can only gain access to everything when I’m at home. On the road I can only listen to music “if” I downloaded it before leaving home which SUCKS! Even then it’s a struggle to get it to actually load and play back. I don’t need my music taking up all of my data space on my phone. All-in-all, if I were to receive a complimentary (as in “free”) subscription for another year I’d considered using the app after my current subscription ends. Other than that thumb’s definitely DOWN!!!

This product will not work with an existing Spotify Premium Duo account, which is not explicitly stated on the card. Why Spotify doesn't just sell a generic gift card is mind-boggling. Just make sure you read the fine and print and make sure you know exactly what you're buying. In my opinion, its very scammy and poor form for a major company to offer such a misleading product.

Great gift to a relative that just had the free version. No more ads!

I tried to enter the card on my Spotify account and was informed it was invalid. Called back and spoke with someone who said they would research it. After several days, I was informed that they had added the card to my Spotify account. Quite a problem.

I purchased this Spotify gift card as a Mothers Day gift for my wife. What should have been a happy gift for her turned into a major disappointment for her. She could not activate the card at Spotify, and despite all our efforts to fix the problem by visiting Spotify, it would not work. I'm still trying to get this resolved by contacting Best Buy but they are not responsive via phone. They are also not responsive on their website help center. I fear that I've wasted $99!

I bought this $99.00 12 Month Annual Spotify Premium Gift Card in Goleta, Ca for a birthday. The card was somehow non-redeemable and gave us an error saying to try again. We did it repeatedly for a few days and it just didn't work. Came into the store and they told us there's nothing they can do. I'm assuming it wasn't activated correctly at the time of purchase and now we have a worthless $99.00 gift card. This is the second time this happened with a Best Buy gift card.
