I purchased this Spotify gift card as a Mothers Day gift for my wife. What should have been a happy gift for her turned into a major disappointment for her. She could not activate the card at Spotify, and despite all our efforts to fix the problem by visiting Spotify, it would not work. I'm still trying to get this resolved by contacting Best Buy but they are not responsive via phone. They are also not responsive on their website help center. I fear that I've wasted $99!

Great gift to a relative that just had the free version. No more ads!

I bought this $99.00 12 Month Annual Spotify Premium Gift Card in Goleta, Ca for a birthday. The card was somehow non-redeemable and gave us an error saying to try again. We did it repeatedly for a few days and it just didn't work. Came into the store and they told us there's nothing they can do. I'm assuming it wasn't activated correctly at the time of purchase and now we have a worthless $99.00 gift card. This is the second time this happened with a Best Buy gift card.

I purchased this to use with my existing Spotify individual account. The code does not work and I get an error when trying to redeem. I've contacted both Spotify customer service and Best Buy customer service, both of which have done nothing to help me use this card. Also, unlike other gift cards, this has to be used with 12 months of subscription and cannot be redeemed as the $99 value. A complete waste of money and worth avoiding at all costs.

It is a great way to save money on premium Spotify.

Can I give 0 starts? Sat on hold forever with Best Buy as the gift card was never activated. Finally after speaking with multiple people trying to resolve the issue was told it would be available in 12-24 hours. The card NEVER activated. At a loss for what to do, and DO NOT want to sit on hold again. A total waste of money and my time.

In order to redeem the card, you first have to cancel any existing premium accounts that you are already paying for.

Terrible- had Spotify premimum+Hulu. Couldn't redeem without downgrading to regular premium. Do not buy unless it goes on sale.
