It does what it's supposed to do it records and shows video. The only thing bad about it does no POE.

The visual scope captures our year and our neighbor's yards on both sides. This is the perfect camera for a view to the entire front of our home. The alarm feature is a definite plus. Installation was done professionally and we are extremely satisfied with this purchase.

Wide lens but needs sharper focus and also greater resolution. Can not read license plate number 20 ft away in daylight. Disappointing. Light also does not project very far.

Great camera big downside is if there’s no Wi-Fi it doesn’t save any video.

This review is for the actual purchasing of this product. I selected the connectivity that I needed, which was "Wired". When shopping this product at any other site, that is the option listed, as well as the product offered. I wasn't until I received the shipment notification that I saw the word "Plug-in". I panicked because that wasn't what I ordered, went to the website, and found "Plug-in" wasn't even a connectivity option. I do realize now that the photo shows a plug wire, and the product description states Plug-in. Other retailers (including the Ring website) show the 4 options as Battery, Wired, Plug-in, & Solar, so it was just really frustrating that the research I had done to purchase this product turned out to be useless on this website. It's very misleading and turned out to be a waste of time and drive to the store to return.

This camera is pretty solid. I wouldn't buy it just for the Birds Eye view, not as great as it's advertised.

Not sure why this was labeled as wireless. I was expecting this to come as wireless with rechargeable battery But it came with a plug-in. Trying to see how this can fit otherwise will return.

There are currently three different powering options: battery, solar, and plug-in. It appears you may have purchased the incorrect model. But don't worry, you can use your device in battery mode by installing a Ring quick release battery pack. Wifi issues

Kept disconnecting from wifi multiple times in a day. I bought a spotlight cam plus at the same time and they were both in front of the house, same distance from my wireless router and the plus never disconnected. I returned the pro & got another spotlight plus to replace it, installed in the same place and have not had an issues with the plus disconnecting at all.

It sounds like the device is not operating as intended. Spotlight Cam Pro is an outdoor security camera that includes advanced video, audio, connectivity, and motion detection features. The product provides outdoor coverage for common blind spot areas in clear HDR. Usually, devices falling offline repeatedly is related to poor wifi connectivity caused by signal fluctuations, channel congestion, or data loss.
To determine whether or not the problem is caused by poor upload speed, run a speed test to determine if your network can support Ring devices. Ring devices with 1080p video require at least 1 Mbps upload and download speeds, though 2 Mbps is recommended for optimal performance. In edition to ensuring that you have sufficient wifi speeds, you will also want to check the signal strength of your device.
A poor wifi signal can cause connectivity with your Ring device to be unreliable. Check the "Device Health" section of your Ring application to ensure the device’s RSSI is within an acceptable range. The recommended range for optimal performance is 0 to -60 for the RSSI.
If your networking equipment hasn’t been power cycled in a while, try unplugging it for 30 seconds and plugging it back in. Wireless networks utilize different channels for communication. In the United States, the 2.4 GHz band uses channels 1-11 and the 5 GHz band uses channels 36-165.
