Amazing machine. Reduces temp to -18F in literally minutes. Simple design and ease of use and made in the USA!. SPT makes compressors for restaurants and commercial uses so impressed.

After trying different advertised ice makers over the years, this is the first one that actually works and is very easy to use. It takes less than 60 minutes to make ice cream and you can see that the temperature of the mixture drops from room temperature to -10 degrees within 3 minutes. Easy to clean and then make two different flavored ice cream batches back-to-back. Only negative is that you may find yourself gaining weight from all the ice cream you'll eat. Once you taste your first batch of ice cream, you will never want to buy ice cream at the supermarket again.

Great little machine, has its own compressor so it does indeed make ice cream. Cheaper than those where you have to freeze something before using

Don't usually write reviews but this thing is great. I have used/had quite a few ice cream makers. (I know; get a life.) Several have been the type that you have to pre-freeze. Those were acceptable but i kept wondering about the ones that have the refrigeration built in. This product has been one of those things that i wanted but bills, rent, school clothes etc. had to come first. Long story short, finally got one. It works great cools down to well below zero. My unit says it is at -16 degrees before it is done with the cycle. Attaining the proper temperature with the proper motion is essential for achieving proper air/thickness/density. It makes ice cream equal to or better than artisanal ice cream.

Love this Ice Cream maker! It gets super cold and whips up a ready to eat batch of ice cream in an hour. It is a bit larger than I would prefer, and very heavy so it's not easy to move around but it definitely does the job!

This is my first ice cream maker. I did lots of research before buying this model. My choice was a good one. It could not be easier and the clean up is easy.

I am so happy that I purchased this ice cream maker. It is so easy to use. I do not have to precool anything. I have used it 5 times so far and it works great. Put in the ingredients, press on and that's it! Easy to clean too. Ice cream flavors I have made so far are peppermint chip, vanilla, mocha and coconut chip.

I can’t stop using this ice cream maker!!! Easy to use. Too easy and I end up making ice cream everyday…..

We love this icecream maker! We wanted something that we could just plug in and use and this is it! Only makes 1 1/2 quarts, but that just means we can try more flavors :)

Machine works great ice cream done to soft serve state in about 30 minutes let it run longer to freeze harder if that's what you want. I was afraid it would be loud but that's not the case at all and the customer service from the company is excellent. I cant imagine the units that cost twice the price could be any better

I’ve shaken jars, hand cranked, and had one of those things that you need to put in the freezer for 24 hr. How did I live without a real ice cream maker? Highly recommended!

This has been a wonderful ice cream maker. I really like that I don’t have to deal with trying to keep track of a bowl in the freezer.

I have only made a few batches. Seems OK so far. The first batch stalled because I put too much in the container, but the others worked out fine.

NIce machine I've only used it twice so it takes me awhile to get accustomed to something new. I'll get used to it.
