I purchased two square stands in June 2024. We noticed in October the iPad starting having issues connecting to one of the stands. A reboot seemed to fix the issue temporarily. We just took them out of the box to start football season again and the iPad would not connect to the stand. Thought it would last longer then 1 season.

Very good product!, would give a six star if possible!

Great for my chiropractic office, the square contactless reader lasted me some time but this was a much needsd upgrade and really adds some professionalism to the whole checkout process.

I use this for my business. It works perfect. Even when you don’t have signal it still stores everything until you do would recommend this to anybody

Great for small businesses, set it up with new iPad and cash register still turned out cheaper than buying the more expensive version.

Had the older versions before. Unlike the old ones this new one has the readers built into the case which is great. You dont need spend extra for a reader and no cable clutter.

The item itself works great, does what it is supposed to but the quality is trash. After just a few months of use the part where the ipad connects with the stand, broke off inside my ipad, I was able to remove it from the ipad but the stand no longer works. I contacted Square since they say that they have a one year warranty of it, they refused to replace it, said that is not a covered warranty item.. Well then make a better quality product.

We bought this stand in July 2023 for pop up markets. We didn’t use all the time maybe twice every couple months, and in January of 2025 it just stopped working

I love this stand! My only hang up is it doesnt run off an internal battery like the old card reader or off the iPad battery

It is a good product. Accept the it doesn't include an option to swipe a credit card. Nor does the package include an attachment either

The stand is great however, we can't find a place to "swipe" cards. Even in the tutorial video it doesn't show swiping like the Gen 1. But it advertises that it Taps, Chips, and Swipes Also, even if the tablet itself is at 100%, the stand won't work unless it's plugged in. For example, we were going to use It at a Festival where power isn't always available but we have batteries we can plug in if needed. NOPE. Batteries don't work the actual power cord must be plugged in.

Super Convenient!! Does require a swiper for non chip or tap credit cards & gift cards.

Love the new card slide on the side. It will make taking cc much easier.
