Make sure that you tell the installers ahead of time that you're going to want them stacked! Apparently buying a stacking washer and dryer and the stacking kit at Best Buy wasn't enough for them to know I wanted it stacked and no one asked ahead of time.

Unlike the other accessories I was sold, they did ask me if I wanted to stack the units, and that this part was required to stack them.

Nice way to reduce floor space

The kit does this as advertised. I have no problems with extra vibration or movement. The kit seems flimsy, but has held up well for years.

The only drawback is the metal color. My washer and dryer are white...
