The only issue in my opinion is in the design of the canister/top unit latches which become unlatched very easily allowing the bottom canister to detach. This has been an issue with other similarly designed vacuums that I’ve used and previous ones that I’ve owned.

I've never really used a shop-vac, so I don't have a frame of reference, but it cleared out all the water that had leaked into my mom's car. It is a bit clunky to move, but no enough that would warrant a return.

Vacuum is perfect size for shop use. Plenty of power for sawdust extraction. Happy with purchase. Very fast delivery time.

Just what I needed

This was an upgrade from a way to small 2 gallon generic model that I had for about 7 years. I spent untold time emptying the hot tub. This is powerful enough and with a large enough capacity to get the job done way sooner and helping me clean my hot tub faster so I can enjoy it sooner. Excellent buy.

Difficult rolling across a floor

The hose is stiff and the vacuum does not roll in the direction you pull it. The design is awful, the power cord and the suction hose are on opposite sides, when you to try roll it by pulling on the hose, it gets caught up in the cord and wont roll forward at all. If you are buying for it to sit mobile, to vacuum a car possibly, then this is your vacuum, if you are purchasing to vacuum a floor and need to move all around the room, this is not the vacuum for that. Had I know, it would be so difficult to roll across a room, I would not have purchased. Very poor decision putting cord and hose on opposite sides
