9/10 Amazing and strategic action rpg combat with a gorgeous art style.

Beautiful art style and graphics with a lot of content.

I remember getting the original for the PS1 and I loved it. And when I saw this was coming out I knew I had to get it. I love the graphics and the gameplay is still solid. I love old-school RPGs, as I was there when they came out. And I do like these "remakes".

Headline says it all. This is a fantastic update to a retro classic. A must for any jrpg fan. Best in series

It's an extremely well-done remake of a beloved game with updated graphics and quality of life modifications. The story dump is a bit heavy in the beginning much like the original game, after a couple hours the pace picks up a lot. If you liked the original Star Ocean 2 or RPGs in general, this is a no-brainer.

This is a very nice remaster. If you love pixel art JRPGs, this one should not disappoint.

This is the 1st time i have played this series, so far so good it's actually a really good game so far. If you like rpgs, and a storyline it's worth checking out.

Great port, lots of upgrades from original, new visuals. Square did an amazing job with this game, and the quality is superb. If you are into rpg’s and like the upgrading and crafting elements, this game is for you. A great refresh and a must own.

Great old school rpg with combined graphics that make it all the more enjoyable.

If you love jrpgs you need to have this on your list all the options to make it as easy or hard as you want all the different character interactions and the battle system leveling up systems the graphics definitely play this

Incredible remaster of a classic RPG. If you're looking to relive the golden age of RPGs look no further. Between the two MCs stories if you're a completionist you're looking at well over 60h of content.

Game is really fun even though it takes a little while for it to get going.

I'm truly happy to see a physical release of this beloved game that sadly I had lost years ago and now once again have a physical copy to add to my game shelf. It's also a game that shows you don't need 4K realistic graphics to be a great game to have fun and enjoy playing. While some may complain about the power of the Switch it still shows its ability to bring in gamers to keep playing as you can now play this game on the go or at home which is definitely a nice touch. Either way it's a great game to own and one not to be missed.

Great remake! Would recommend for any rpg fan. Ost remake was a plus as well.
