Star Trek II : The Wrath of Khan 4K blu-ray is a must have

Wife is a big Star Trek fan. Probably her favorite.

The quality of this video should be marked less then 4K the clarity, sharpness and viewing was worse then the television vision. This was one of my favorite star track movies this is not to say it’s not but I was very disappointed in this presentation of this movie. Be cautious of movies being described as ultra high definition.

The Blu-Ray Disc Version included was a poor video transfer. In this version of the movie the lighting was darker, and the colors were not as sharp when I compared the disc to my 2009 Blu-Ray disc version of the movie. This is also the main problem with most movies produce in the last five years or so with the natural lighting filming concept.

the best Star Trek film Khan is the greatest villain

Didn't see any improvement over the original dvd version. Its a great movie though. Just was expecting a better visual experience.

I was looking forward to watching this movie in Ultra HD and it did not disappoint!! Sound and image are unbelievable!!

The best STAR TREK movie ever, now released individually with beautiful slipcover for the 40th Anniversary Edition. Previously in the 4-movie box set by Paramount, we finally get the individual release. The Director's Cut is on the 4K as it should be. Lots of special features here for this movie. I love everything about this entry into the Star Trek universe. It is my favorite film in the entire franchise. I watch all of my movies, TV shows, DVDs, Blu-rays, and 4Ks on the Sony 4K player with Sony TV/HDR. I also have a soundbar set up for the sound. I highly recommend this one!
