Sir Patrick Steward wanted just the right way to come back to Star Trek. In this new series he got just that. It maintains the original TNG and expands on it with drama, wit, humor and some nice surprises. Still a shame that a digital copy isn't included but we know CBS/Paramount! Enjoy.

My husband and I watched this because we enjoyed Discovery. We loved the season and look forward to Season 2. Ran across this while in Best Buy. Since this was on sale, I purchased it in advance of this coming Christmas for a surprise gift for my husband.

This was a great show. It had a lot of cameos from the show. It brought a few of the shows together. The ending is still really difficult to wrap my head around. Very difficult to get this and Discovery without CBS All Access. So very thankful it is on DVD and Blu Ray.

Well, when this came out on CBS Online it started off kind of slow, but they were giving you back story. When I got further into the series the action was very good and at the season finally it had me wanting more. I am a trekkie for sure and I recommend this to all.

I’m old school Star Trek fan, 63 years old. Watching Picards adventures as he ages helps me justify still watching to my grown kids. I was hooked from the first episode. Don’t have CBS all access so having the DVD released is great for me.

I loved it. I find myself watching it over and over, not just for the action but to see what subtleties I may have missed. I think I like Captain Picard and his protectors character mosts. I hope there's a season 3, I'll buy all that one too.

This is, hands-down, the best new Star Trek series. Instead of being formulaic in the mold of the cookie-cutter, episodic action shows, this is a mature and introspective journey with some real science-fiction explorations at its core.

This is the first of the Star Trek Series. We have all that they have come out with. It is now May 2022. Best Buy has had them all. The film quality and effects are exceptional!

I really like this show. All the cast is varied and unique, each in their own way. They introduced several new original characters and even the older characters have grown and changed with the times.

I wasn’t sure if I would like this or not. I’m a diehard Star Trek fan and I thought they would somehow mess it up. I was wrong! I loved this first season and can’t wait to purchase season two when available! Excellent!

a little difficult to follow, had to restart the series, but now its making sense. Its a thinking persons movie so pay attention to the little details, makes it easier to follow and enjoy.

Great followup to Star Trek Next Generation. The story is entertaining and raises the issue of can man trust artificial life forms? Patrick Stewart is great as a retired Jean Luc Picard.

In this time of pandemic, when there is really nothing on tv worth it, putting on Picard to just focus on something besides reality. Even though the storyline is just getting started, its worth watching.

Great stories! Star Trek is a favorite of mine and I enjoyed seeing one of my favorite characters reprising his role as Picard. Loved the problematic Romulan addition to the story line!

We have yet to watch but look forward to seeing it love captain Picard so sure it will be great price was really good and don't have the cbs all access so only way to watch was to wait for the dvd

Stewart stands out among a great cast. A story of an aging general searching for the past among much younger colleagues. The best Star Trek series ever made. Can't wait for the next season.

Overall excellent series, not accustomed to hearing the “F” word in a star trek series but other then that it was good. I think if I had to choose Picard or Star Trek Discovery I would pic Discovery.

JL's still got the humble swag. And he's teamed up with a bunch of interesting characters. I loved a few of the episodes... but I hated the ending. (Not usually a hater.) But that's just me. Overall it was well-acted, sets and special effects were awesome, and plot was interesting. Nice call-backs and cameos, too!

Great follow up on favorite characters from the Next Generation. The special features are interesting insight into a very interesting character study.
