This looks even better on 4k - it’s worth it to get it

My collection of 4K UHD Blu-Ray movies has grown significantly since I installed my very own 5.1.2 Dolby Atmos home theatre setup. I’ve purchased and analyzed a number of the classic action adventure and sci-go movies. Up until I purchased this bundle of Star Trek movies, the version of the original Top Gun movie held first place for best Dolby Atmos Track. But after watching these Star Trek films, it completely blew away everything in my collection, even the remastered Star Wars movies m. I am beyond impressed with how great the Dolby Atmos track is for all three movies. The highs, mids, and bass are in perfect balance. The picture quality is good, however, there are certain scenes where the film grain looks weird. If you have a nice sound system that is Dolby Atmos compatible, you should include these Star Trek movies within your Blu-Ray collection.

I guess this set truly depends on if you’re a fan of J.J. Abrams soft reboot of the Star Trek film series. If you are, then this is a set for you!

This trilogy contains some of the best acting I have ever seen and keeps the plot mostly together until the third one . We also get to see Doctor Strange For those of us but now categorize movies depending on what marvel characters playing them Lol But if you have not seen these Star Trek reboot movies You are missing out. I personally cannot stand the new Star Wars but I love the new Star Trek, and if you reverse time of the older movies I cannot stand Star Trek but I love the original three Star Wars. So I'm no fan boy I just call him how I see him and this Star Trek trilogy is amazing oh yeah and also has Thor in the beginning of number one ha ha Ha I do love my marvel movies. You are missing out. This 4K UltraHD Transfer is an excellent upgrade from the standard Blu-Ray disc. The Dolby Atmos audio is an upgrade from the original Dolby True HD Blu-Ray disc. The only problem I have with this purchase, is BestBuy’s shipping packing. This is a six disc set. During shipping the outside of case was cracked, the internal disc holder was broken during shipping. I’m asking BestBuy to provide better packing and packaging for online disc ordering. The Disc where not damage. I wonder if BestBuy can provide me a replacement case?

Some of the earlier Star Trek movies will always be hard to beat (the Wrath of Khan, the Voyage Home and First Contact all stand as superb Trek classics). This is especially true for fans of the original 60s TV series (with Kirk, Spock & McCoy) and the Next Generation series with Captain Picard, et al. That being said, this trilogy contains some of the best acting I have seen in Trek films and overall they do a good job of keeping the plots coherent while putting a different spin on the Star Trek timeline. This 4K UltraHD Transfer is an excellent upgrade from the standard Blu-ray discs. The Dolby Atmos audio is outstanding and blows away the Blu-ray sound tracks! One can only hope that there are more Star Trek movies to come...

George Lucas has done it again! After watching a Phantom Menace I was eager for more space adventures and when I saw this 3 pack of galactic goodness I knew I had to scoop it up. The image quality is outstanding and really shines in 4K. It actually shines so bright that I suggest wearing your favorite pair of shades when viewing to help with all the sun glares. If you enjoy great action, relatable characters or have a fetish for bowl cut boys with sharp ears then I highly recommend checking out this trilogy. Definitely worth picking up, especially at this price point! To Infinity and Beyond!

Gene Roddenberry had always wanted a story where Kirk met Spock. I love how this first film did that and tied what happened with Spock after the Big Sela cliffhanger (2 parter) on TNG. I could do without the lens flares. I would love to see a 4th installment. Perhaps (as of this minute) ST:Picard will tie into this!?

They did a great job on this trilogy. I've enjoyed all three movies. I previously owned BluRay copies of all three movies, but decided to upgrade to 4K. Really glad I did the upgrade; the 4K video is a nice improvement over the HD BluRay. Great storylines and great acting. Plenty of action with terrific special effects. Interesting twists on the previous Star Trek storylines.

The Kelvin Trilogy will be remembered as the series that our generation of film-goers just couldn’t quite grasp or appreciate for the films they were. A wonderfully stylized and honorary reimagining of the classic Star Trek crew helmed by J.J. Abrams and closed out by the up-and-coming Justin Lin, the trilogy holds a special place in my movie-loving heart. The 4K transfer is excellent and the price is undeniably great!

Very good series. Audio and visual effects are great. My wife also love the movies and actually is able to call out the use of our front heights. We will for sure keep coming back. Recomend this title for anyone who not only loves the star Trek polt but anyone who has invested time and money in there home theater as it is a good use of your setup.

The Star Trek Trilogy on 4K is spectacular. The visuals and sound are superb. Casting is perfect. Visual effects are out of this world. A nice gift for the Star Trek fan. It'd filled with a ton of special features that take you behind the scenes in the making of each film. A very touching tribute to Leonard Nimoy and Anton Yelchin.

This includes the 3 newest Star Trek movies in one box. It is a pleasure to watch these in 4k with the quality audio. It has the regular blurays if you don't have a 4k player. It also includes all 3 movies on 4k blurays too for best picture and sound. If you are a fan this is a no brainer!

You will not be disappointed. Excellent 4K picture with immersive Dolby Atmos to experience your home theater at it's maximum warp!!..one of my favorite scence (of many) is the opening sequence of Into Darkness...the chase through the woods!!...the Enterprise rising from the sea....oh my!!!!

This Reboot Trilogy is top shelf. Don't let the haters fool you. All three films are worth a watch. This 'Trek' Trilogy is better than any recent 'Wars' one.

Regardless of whether or not you’re a fan of Star Trek, this movie collection is a “must have” for the serious movie collector, who enjoys superior special effects, and an excellent Sci-Fi movie.

These movies looks fantastic in 4K. I have the Blu Ray version of all and the 4Ks are way more detailed. I must say though that my 3D version of Into Darkness is a much more immersive experience than the 4K Kelvin timeline version.

This is an excellent 4K movie. The visual effects will impress any enthusiastic movie aficionados. The story is well written, and the actors are best of the best, in every scene.This will easily go in the collection, of great movies. Thank you Best Buy.

I have always been a fan of the original Star Trek tv shows and movies. They did a hell of a job putting this cast together for this movie series. This series is action packed and it keeps you watching through every movie. The visual and sound effects are awesome for home theater!
