Star Wars swung and missed (whiffed) on this one. The original Battlefront had a campaign or story mode. Why doesn't this one??? This plays a lot like Call of Duty but with blasters (laser guns).

Star Wars Battlefront captures the essence of the original trilogy... great co-op missions and multiplayer is fun

I played the beta and it looks amazing and plays smoothly. But all your really getting with this edition is two emotes. But every thing else you can get later on if you wait. Which I can. So I wouldn't waste the money when you can save it with the standard edition. All your doing is saying "EA price up the game when you purchase this". It's a trap.

I'm very disappointed with this game. It's just a generic boring shooter. It's just Star Wars themed which is cool but this game could just be anything. Weak story as well and it's just a boring game to play. I wish I wouldn't have bought it.

This game has NO STORY MODE! If I knew this I would not had bought this game. I paid for the deluxe version which means I had to pay 80's bucks for just digital content. The fact there is a season pass for a mere 50 bucks more is just crazy! All this game is just fighter shoot em up like you are online! just battle mode and online mode which are basically the same thing. Too much money to put in a game like this only to have it be one dimensional.

$10 bucks for two emotes and weapons that you can unlock by playing the game? No thank you. BUY THE REGULAR EDITION and save that money for later dlc.

As a Star Wars fan I of course got this day one. While it doesn't have a single player portion it's still fun to play. If you want to jump on for a game or two it's fine for that. Loading times seem to take awhile but oh well. The sound design works really well especially with a good pair of headphones Fun to play as a character or fly a ship you've been seeing on the big screen for years. Still fun even without SP. if your a Star Wars fan this game is for you.

The game has potential to be really good, but the lack of a story mode without Live is disappointing.

the controls can be a little confusing and getting around, by my son and i enjoyed it.

They call it a Deluxe Edition when all they did was add on some poor DLC "bonuses." That kind of addition is what I would see from a pre-order, not a 'step-up' edition of a game. No doubt the game will be good, but the regular edition of the game is more realistic to get. Same amount of bang for less buck.

I bought the item and I am very happy with the performance and excellent design.

Waste of money. The graphics are amazing, but that's the only positive aspect to this game. After a few hours, the gameplay is predictable and boring. The dogfights are fun at first, but it's an endless stream of loops and barrel rolls to kill your opponent, which repeats itself over and over. The ground battles are a watered down version of COD multiplayer, without the payoff. Again, it gets boring quickly. Also, the lack of a Single Player Campaign to help break-up the monotony was a huge disappointment.
