Huge Star Wars nerd here. I wasn’t gonna let the microtransaction scandal sway me from picking up this game but upon receiving it, it is very true that this game is very pay-to-win. Super disappointing. The offline modes are great though because everything is unlocked to play with. And it has everything the last game should have had: A 2 player versus, a campaign! etc. for right now, im trying to not let the microtransaction get to me, but hopefully EA can resolve this and make this game the amazing game it has the potential to be.

The follow-up to Star Wars Battlefront is just as fun as the original with great multiplayer and a solid Campaign (story) mode. After some tweaking of the amount of credits needed to unlock heroes/villains, attaining them is a bit more reasonable.

The graphics are amazing first time i played it looked like i was playing a movie. The shooting mechanics can be better like cod ww2 but not bad at all the loot crates suck

Great graphics and smooth game play. The detail is absolutely amazing with ultra realistic environments. Campaign mode was a great adition with an intriguing story line

Great campaign, with hopefully more add on missions in the future that should be free. Online maps bring back the nostalgic memories of the original battlefront games.

While this is a definite update to the previous Battlefront, there is still something missing when compared to the originals on ps2 and xbox. The campaign in this game is excellent and is probably worth the paying for by itself. The multi-player is fun and also frustrating at times. I dislike the card system which was brought over from the first one. I wish, since it is Dice who makes this game, that they would just do Battlefield in the Star Wars version. I think that it would make the game much, much better. I understand however, that people would probably whine about not having something unique

Gameplay is fun but the progression system needs fixing. Micro transactions were a terrible idea for this game.

Bought two so my son and I can play side by side and rule the galaxy! He's way better then me. Graphics, maps and campaign are all awesome. Better heros and villians. More challenging then the 1st BF.

Great game big improvement over the first this time it has the campaign fits 12 missions along really good multiplayer 40 player conquest would really recommend this game for any Star Wars fan

With all the backlash that's been happening with SWBF2, it has created a negative state for this game. However, if you look further and I believe updates will come to fix things like the progression system and loot crates, then you will enjoy this, especially as a SW fan. Campaign is weak, but multiplayer is a blast. A price decrease may come December '17 though, so you may want to hold off till then.

For those waiting for the new Battlefront it is well worth that wait. The graphics are great, there is a ton of action, and my boyfriend hasn't stopped playing it since it got here.

I really do not like the pay to win aspect of this game. They have already addressed this slightly, but someone should not have a significant advantage over me in a video game just because they spent a lot more money on it. The other aspect of that is the crates are random. This means my buddy and I could both spend $100, but he may end up with a lot better characters due to pack luck. More games are doing this form of microtransaction, and I am not a fan. Everything else is pretty good.

My nephew loves Star Wars and his PS4. This game was on his list and as Christmas got closer he kept mentioning it. The game finally went on sale but wasn't cheap enough. Best Buy price matched another store and so I got him the game. On Christmas after gifts were opened he had a pile of games but this one was the one he played first. I got the Stormtrooper Edition so he'd have whatever was extra. Until he plays it longer I can't say how great it is, but he liked it very much so far.

The overall consensus for me is that this is a fantastic and fun game. If you love Star Wars you will probably buy this regardless. But beware, the puishing company, EA has put a lot of gambling aspects into the game. Children and compulsive adults will be tempted to spend extra money after purchasing the game due to how progression works similar to a free to play mobile game. If you can resist the temptations then you’ll enjoy it. However, recent events have it that this system might change due to backlash, so maybe hold out a little longer.

Unfortunately due to the loot box controversy this game wont get a look at by some, and that would be too bad. I enjoyed the story mode even though it is a bit short. I have also enjoyed some of the multiplayer modes, just wish the progression system was better. Overall i enjoyed playing the game so far. As long as Dice keeps their promise and works on improvements it will get better.

This is a great game... the maps look so realistic and there is so much action going on... way better than the first game.... can’t wait for the first free dlc next week!!

DICE did a better job with the feel of the mutiplayer by adding classes and in game points system. The campaign is fantastic and worth any Star Wars Fan's time. I can't in good conscience rate it higher at this time because of the loot box and hero unlock issues. The publisher has backpeddled in recent days but the systems in place at launch are very much a pay to win concept.

Greatness and Perfection! This is my favorite game of the year. The campaign was amazing. I want more! Worth every cent. No bad things to say. The adventure is amazing!

Couldn’t wait to buy part two for me and my kids we absolutely love this game the graphics are so amazing, and now it has campaign mode. Excellent game to own

as a star wars fan, this game is always fun to play. the addition of the new characters is even better
