I owned Battlefront 1, & I must say that Battlefront 2 is a much better put together game. Having a single player mode is a bonus compared to last year. And being able to use more Heroes in game is what we as players wanted. More boards spread across multiple Star Wars settings is Awesome! Very immersive Game!

I haven’t fully played this to all of its potential quite yet, but so far I’ve enjoyed the story mode. Unfortunately about a third of the way in, it seems a bit lackluster as it seems to not be very well thought out as a single player experience. Almost as an afterthought. It’s a bit repetitive and not very engaging. It’s basically just kill enemies walking simulator with a tad bit Of storyline. Which I was really looking forward to. As for the multiplayer it’s fun like the first one with some good additions. Overall it’s a good game, nothing groundbreaking but also not a waste. I’ve enjoyed it still so far

Already played through the campaign, which was great! I’m still a fan of the first Battlefront, but this one is definitely an improvement with all of the playable characters and vehicles and the worlds you play on.

The launch for this game was rocky to say the least but a lot has changed since then. For one thing any hint of loot boxes is completely gone. Progression is based on play the character/class/vehicle you want to upgrade. So it works like most games out there now. So now that we are past that here is a quick list of what to expect with the game as of December 2018. 1. Modes. Space battles, big ground battles, small ground battles, heroes battles, hero ship battles and even a ewok hunt mode are all here and they are all pretty fun. The weakest mode is Blast which is just team death match. 2. Maps. 12 big ones 16+ small ones (usually just a slice of the big map for that planet). 3. Campaign. I like it and have played it twice start to finish. 4. Offline modes. 18 ground maps (all small) with two modes. 6 starfighter maps with two modes. Also has splitscreen. Everything is unlocked here so you can try out heroes/weapons/cards. 5. Looks like 2019 will be a good year. With all updates free for everyone and at least two more coming it looks like the game will be alive for quite a while longer. Overall I would recommend you give it a try.

I pre-ordered this to get early access to the multiplayer beta and I liked it. After the release, I couldn't find any reviews that made me think this game is worth $60. I will buy again when price is much lower.

If you liked the first Battlefront, you should be good here. There’s a little more meat to this one in regards to customization. Campaign is short. It looks fantastic, but still not a perfect game by any means.

Very big improvement upon the first game. The campaign is a lot of fun. Rather easy though. The multiplayer is also improved. The loot system isnt all that great.

It's a fun game but multiple gives a bit of a disadvantage to new players. Even at launch there were people who were able to grind out better weapons and when you play against them it can be frustrating.

Some hits and some misses based on the previous Battlefront game. The game is fun, and I think people getting too upset over some of the changes to this game need to find greater balance in their lives.

I love the Campaign story and wish it was longet, but the mechanics of the game are not as amooth as other Battlefront games. It’s still a really fun game to play, specially if you are a Star Wars fan.

battlefront 2 is a definite improvement from battlefront 1. graphics are better. gameplay is better. its an all around good game. It's still, however, no comparison to the original battlefront 2 on PC

This game provides lotso's different scenery with great graphics the speed of the game is good it provides me with lots of options I plan to play this game for some time it will not disappoint you

Super fun game, plays like a CoD game but with star wars characters. The randomized loot crate system does kind of suck, but if you're decent enough it shouldn't make TOO much of a difference.

This is a Nice game, better than Battlefron I, it has a Story mode, although it is too short from my point of view. It is more complicated to play that first version. It has new characters.

If you liked the first one, you’ll like this one. Is it the best game ever made? No. Is the progression system a little clunky? Yes. But it is still possible to play the game and have fun.

For someone who isn't much of a gamer, this is so much fun. I'm a die hard star wars fan for life and this makes me happy. I don't care about the loot boxes. I just wanna fly a space ship.

Great campaign and game play. Still feels a lot like the first but better and more locations. Could have been a DLC or at least a little cheaper than full price for an upgrade, basically.

The Good graphics 10/10 story line in single player 9/10 - Some elements don't flow as well as other single player experiences...the multiplayer roots are evident. The Bad Greed. If this game had been free to play with a cash system or 60 without the pay to win structure it could have been a better game. The purchases are not just cosmetic they effect the power structure of the game creating an unbalanced experience. Best solution. Rent. Play the single player. Avoid the multiplayer unless you have the time to sink into the grind.

Pre-ordered the game. Seemed like they took care of the loot boxes problems. The game does have a campaign in it, versus the previous version. A game that any star wars fan should enjoy.

The graphics are perfect. The look and feel are Star Wars. 2 downsides are almost unbearable load times and by now most of your opponents have already enhanced their weapons and skills.
