Yes, lootboxes are a problem, but if you're like me and primarily a single player type of gamer, then Battlefront 2 can be satisfactory. The X-Wing/Tie Fighter missions are the closest you're going to get to the classic Star Wars space combat simulator for a long time.

I think when you get passed the horrible business decision of EA as a company, this game was a ton of fun and a solid Star Wars game. I really appreciated the ship combat, very tight.

The game is a lot of fun. It’s true that there are issues with the progression system, but with the promise that it’ll be fixed and more content on the way, the game has a bright future.

It’s hard not to feel like Star Wars Battlefront II should’ve been better than what it is. While some like to think that the implementation of loot crates is a worse crime than that of killing younglings, in reality, it just proves to be uninteresting and makes it more likely for me to bounce off of the multiplayer sooner rather than later. The real disappointment falls upon that of the campaign which I clearly had too much hope for. It’s not a story that I would say I hate more than sand, but it also isn’t memorable at all.

I bought this item as a gift for my son on Christmas. He is very pleased with the game.

Much better then the first one. There is finally a campaign and its a great story. I havnt played online yet as I am still working on campaign but I have played arcade a few times. There's lots of options so it's not just running through the campaign and you're done.

My 8 year old saw his friend play this and he wanted it. At first he didn't know all the "tricks" and i had to watch while he played to help read all the quick tips that appear on screen but now he has the hang of it and enjoys playing by himself or with his friends.

The styling of the game is awesome. Has a unique story that really brings you into the universe. Although the EA stigma of pay to play is here, the single player is great!

Great graphics but lacks in multiplayer gameplay. Single player has a good story but very short.

For starters, this game is drop dead gorgeous visually. Can’t believe they were able to make it look so impressive on current gen consoles! Though it had a rough start, here we are two years later and the game is miles more fun.

I just bought this game a few weeks ago and have really enjoyed it so far! The Campaign mode is lots of fun and tells a great story. If you enjoy Star Wars, first person shooter games, or flying planes in space this is the game for you. Lots of fun!

This is my first Star Wars Game. I had a lot of fun playing it. I am not sure if all of the content is suitable for younger children, but my son enjoyed flying the ships.

I'm still getting used to figuring out how to play but I like how it includes the characters from the latest trilogy and the attention to detail.

This was a gift for my son's birthday. He loves it. He plays responsibly with other gamer / Star Wars fans. I'm not thrilled about shoot em ups, but somehow, Star Wars gets a pass.

This game brings me back to as much fun as I had with my friends during the last one!

I love story mode games so this was perfect for me. I would say the online play I kinda enjoyed the first battlefront a little better but this one was still great. If a battlefront 3 comes out it will be a no brainier to get it.

The game looks fantastic but the progress is ruined by microtransactions.
