This game works really well, and looks great on a nice PC rig. I am not done with it yet, but the single player has good elements from both sides and a decent story.

I bought the game for the campaign rather than for the multiplayer, which is why I suspect I was happier with the purchase than many online who were understandably put off by the microtransactions and the progression system. The campaign is a fun romp--designed to familiarize you with the arcade and multiplayer modes, but also having some interesting narrative beats. I thought of most of the chapters as short stories (some featuring familiar characters alongside the members of Inferno Squad), and it was a nice way to play through the campaign. It helps, also, that all planned narrative content is to be free--and there're already additional chapters available, released alongside the release of The Last Jedi in theaters.

BF2 continues the rich experience from its predecessor, with new missions, some of which will make you uneasy at first if you only want to play on the good guys (rebel) side. Trust me though, its not all black and white, even if you play imperial missions, the story lines are quite intrigueing. Graphics are stunning if you have the hardware for it! But its scalable for your system shouldyou not quite meet every requirement. I would say my only gripe is the font for some of the menu screens buttons is a bit small and hard to read even on my 70 inch whopper, lol.

Solo game story mode let players experience StarWars movie-like scenes. Really like the Space fighters combat, and the fighters are easlier to control than previous EA Battlefront games.

Much like the first game (or the third, if you’re counting the original Battlefront games from Pandemic), Battlefront 2 faithfully captures the look and feel of the Star Wars universe, with beautifully detailed levels, vehicles, and characters across some of its most recognizable venues. Every blaster, TIE Fighter, and Battle Droid looks and sounds like it’s straight out of the movies, with the only notable exception being a couple of less than stellar voice impersonators used for heroes like Luke Skywalker, Darth Vader, and Kylo Ren.

The game is fun. Lives up to the original battlefronts. Even though the game went through so much PR hate. I enjoy the game. Ignore all the hate and start shooting some blasters.

Removing all the controversy from the review... Graphics are amazing, Multiplayer in general is fun, like the first game it feels like Star Wars. Major issue with the PC Single player campaign, even on the lowest settings it maxes my CPU at 100% so basically unplayable. I have a pretty nice rig that can run most other new games on Ultra with no issues.

The first section single player, for me, is hopeless. The multiplayer is good, similar to Battlefront I. But it is not the best new game -- that would be Destiny 2.

Love it. Don’t like the loot box part. Earning progressions takes hours to unlock. Fun game and even more if your a big Star Wars fan.

Very fun game, plays like the old one, but with better graphics. Lootboxes do not ruin it in my opinion, for example 4 of the 7 villains are unlocked right from the get go. Sure you have to play to unlock stuff, but I've always enjoyed having to earn the best prizes in a game. And with multiple seasons coming around, The Last Jedi starting Dec 5, you will have a new reason to play multiple times every single weeks.

The gameplay for BF2 is fine, but the progression is tied to random loot crates instead of time played or ability which could mean you play for hundreds of hours but aren’t lucky enough that land a certain card for te character you like. You can purchase the cards with crafting points, but it takes forever. Loading times are poor too on the PC.

Beautiful graphics, character options make it fun. Costly in game purchases or plan on playing until they stop support on it.

Pretty fun game, minus the whole in game purchases and what not. Single player and multiplayer are pretty good.

It is a fun game but, the loot box's are something to look out for when they get added back into the game.

Great addition to the Star Wars series of games. Will require a hefty graphics card and RAM.

This game is awesome, if you're a Star Wars fan, and probably just as awesome even if you're not. I have not yet begun to explore the depths of the game, but the graphics are beautiful and the play is fun and entertaining. If you had the first Star Wars Battlefront, here's an opportunity to expand on your experience in a familiar format.

Buying this game then buying Darth Vader gave me an immense sense of pride and accomplishment.

Battlefront 2 is a huge improvement form the first game. The single player campaign has an excellent story and the game play is excellent. My only gripe is that it could be longer.

Despite the negative press, I have found that this is a good game.
