This is a solid Star Wars experience. The loot box thing is overblown IMHO since you really do not have to buy them to enjoy the game. I have around a dozen hours into the various modes and the game is fun to me. I am playing on Xbox one x with a sony x900e and it looks good in 4K/HDR (not the best looking game out but still very good). I like the various modes (story/Challenges SP/MP or head to head, and Multiplayer). I am looking forward to more maps/characters/vehicles/game modes. Overall it is a big improvement over the first one from 2 years ago. Negatives -LONG loading screens -Those at higher ranks will have better gear which can punish new players -No starfighter maps against bots (hopefully added later like SWBF1?)

It’s a great game with phenomenal graphics. I truly enjoy the campaign mode on this version.

Improved on BF1. Single player mission is good but short. Progression system is not the best

It’s a great game , I usually buy many games , but I don’t remember if I got the digital game or disc on this. I’ve played the 1st game and still have not finished it , over all the second game has many more features and better effects , graphics etc... it’s most likely a classic now . Ea always makes quality games .

It looks amazing, lot of detail in the environments. The story is a lot of fun but not very long. The multiplayer is horrid though. Bad netcode and hit detection, plus main characters are locked unless you grind a LOT (or pay to unlock them, thanks EA)!

Premium graphics. Great gameplay. Single player campaign included. It’s almost perfection except for the greed that has the loot crates disabled at the moment. This game was a pay to win scenario if you go online and battle, but thanks to numerous complaints is no longer active. Other than that PHENOMENAL GAME!!

There is so much controversy over the micro-transactions that were temporary removed from this game, which is hurting this game's chance of being recognized as a fun family game. This game looks and plays awesome and is a blast for all ages. Hoping EA quickly resolves the micro-transaction drama so this game can be more enjoyable for everyone, across the board. Hopefully the pay-to-win model stays gone!

Absolutely love this game. Before getting in to multiplayer, diving in to the single player campaign gives you a interesting story with hours of action-driven gameplay and cinematic moments. Wish there more of it though. Where it really shines is in multiplayer. From galactic assault to heroes vs villains, it keeps you grounded in different eras of the Star Wars universe. It's lots of fun to be able to jump in and casually play the different modes and maps without having to deal with the grief that you get from other multiplayer games. It does feel a bit of grind after a while but the stunning and lifelike graphics makes it all worth it, specially if you are a Star Wars fan. Overall, highly recommended!

This game is really good. EA has faced a lot of backlash for in game purchases, but honestly they aren’t doing anything different than COD and 2k. Graphics are amazing and the gameplay is a lot more intense than the first EA Star Wars Battlefront. Highly recommended for Star Wars and Battlefield fans.
