We have been having a blast playing this. When we tested out the Beta the balance was off as far as fairness in certain matches but that has all been adjusted and now this game is great!! Rolling around as Vader is epic!!

Brings me back to the old battlefront days. Game is gorgeous and online fun.

If you are a Star Wars fan or just getting started this is a fun way to get into the action. Sights and sounds bring you into the action of the rebels vs. the empire. I can almost feel Darth Vader breathing down my neck.

This game looks and sounds great but just isn't very fun. I expected more from DICE! Wish they would have added a campaign mode!

After logging 10-20 hours into this much-anticipated title, it lives up to all the expectations I had, plus more! The excitement and release date was perfectly timed with the holidays, and the release of Star Wars VII, so this will always have a lot going for it, among Star Wars Fans. We all loved past Star Wars titles, so now here is a highly evolved, PS4 (or Xbox One) style title for all the fans! EA did a great job! GAMEPLAY: I thought this was going to be another "call of duty" or "destiny", but the controls, powerups, ability to play different characters [and obvious Star Wars storyline] make it a completely unique gaming experience. I was also impressed greatly by the lush detail in all of the maps. The multiplayer online play is always a big draw, and I feel the maps and missions are very fairly balanced and tight. The score/ranking system is very fair as well (even though I hold the record for getting shot the most!) Even a mediocre-skilled gamer like myself can jump in the 40 player matches and feel like they are accomplishing something. To compare, ie: Destiny's complex weapons and rank/score system took [me] months to figure out. Star Wars Battlefront's system may not impress hardcore gamers, but it's a 1000x easier system, and I feel more accessible, clearer and sensible than many games I have played.

This is my first Star Wars game! The graphics and game play are awesome!

I purchased this game because the previews of it online were amazing, it was like watching a movie. I usually do not play the shooter games but I am a fan of Star Wars and really like being immersed into the game.

you have to understand what your buying. Basically an online only game, repetitive, but just a beautiful looking game with tight controls. just hit level 50 online and have had a blast all the hours I've played.

Star Wars Battlefront is a great game for what it is. If you love the Star Wars universe then it will be an enjoyable experience. If you are looking for a competitive shooter, however, you should look elsewhere.

This is a very fun game, the kids love it. It is a great and much more appropriate alternative to Halo with out all the gore. Wish there were more options to play more story mode without having to play online.

A long time ago on consoles far far gone.. We played Battlefront last on the PS2 and I think even Xbox.. but since then we haven't seen a proper all out battle even the force unleashed wasn't that bad. This game will satisfy most Star Wars fans and has all the bells and whistles that makes it true.. gameplay feels like a battlefront game so be prepared for that.

Who doesn't love Star Wars? DICE clearly does and created an authentic experience. Too bad its limited to multiplayer only and too few maps. Expect to pay another $50 to double the slim number of maps, as DLC.

The game is online only game, great multiplayer. Only gave 4 stars because there was no story mode. Game has a lot of game modes. If you like battlefield but with starwars characters this is the game for you..

I bought this game just to have some good, old fashion run around and destroy stuff, fun. That is what this game is. Also, the sound, visuals, and map design are really great. Let loose, and shoot something.

Some people complain about the games lack of depth or single player campaign, but really, this game is just a lot of shoot'em up fun based in the Star Wars universe. I've never really been an online gamer in the past but this game has me hooked. Nothing better than playing some Walker Assault on Hoth, it's like an interactive version of Empire Strikes Back!

Its a really fun game, until... You play the same content hundreds of times. Then it is a slightly less fun game. I also do not support their DLC practices, where most of the new content is behind a paywall

This game is beautiful, some of the best graphics I've seen from the ps4 to date. The mission ie single player game is fine for learning, but once you go online I highly doubt you'll play anything else. There is so much variety in the online gameplay modes that you may lose weight, your marriage, and even your life because you won't be doing anything else.
