The Phantom Menace, a good purchase for the price.
||Posted . Owned for 9 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I know that many don't appreciate the prequal trilogy, but this was my favorite of the trio. Having been the last Star Wars saga that Lucas directed it showcases what the future of filmmaking is going to be. It has great universe building, and to see a preview of the Jedi at the apex of their power was inspiring.

Not that bad.

Star Wars Collector's Item
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I highly recommend any star wars fans to purchase the Steel Book series, as it is beautifully made and the case won't tear like those plastic or cardboard cases. The blue ray movie quality is superb as always, and the story line is terrific as always. I highly recommend this movie to any star wars fans and non-fans.

Fantastic!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great movie, love the pod race scene and the duel. An exciting and emotional action-packed adventure with great special effects, great characters, great performances, and a lot of suspenseful and well-staged action sequences. A great entry in the Star Wars saga, and a great first episode in the prequel trilogy!

Collection
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Each of the films in the Star Wars Steelbooks collection has SOME special features, just not ALL special features. You do not get any additional footage beyond the main film on each disc, but you DO get commentary. Commentary includes words with George Lucas and the film crew on one track – and on another track, an awesome collected mash-up of audio commentary from archival interviews with the cast and crew.

Star Wars SteelBooks!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have become a SteelBook collector over the past few years and have been a Star Wars fan since I was a kid. I have been waiting to get all of the original saga films on SteelBook for awhile and caught these on sale. I'm glad to have them in my collection now, but would have liked a little more variety on the characters they chose to feature. The posters on the back are sweet!

Dam - what a Do!
||Posted . Owned for 7 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Dam - Hair styles from another Galaxy - The size of her closet is problably bigger than my apartment. Sword fighting was good. No light sabers flickered out like the first Star Wars. They must have improved the batteries.

The steelcase is the way to go
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought this Blu-ray for its steelcase and it was worth the bling. The movie itself is like many others least favorite of all the Star Wars movies but still a must have if you're a fan. I notice more of the computer animation and effects in the Blu-ray then the DVD version. Also, I recommend to keep the DVD if it has special features more than commentary because that's all the Blu-ray has, commentary.

Long awaited film.
||Posted . Owned for 4 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. As the first Star Wars movie, (though not sequentially) it was a very enjoyable movie. There are many different characters introduced in this movie which all have a place in the Star Wars lineage.

Star Wars Magic
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Clarity and color of the HDR is not to be underestimated especially considering that this movie was made over 10 years ago. With rich color and fantastic mythology this HDR prequel will not disappoint.

It’s not as bad as many think
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I enjoyed it. Wasn’t the best one, but it wasn’t terrible. I don’t like all those “prequel haters”. If you’re a true Star Wars fan, you will enjoy them all and collect them all! It’s as simple as that. I love the music and some of the action scenes and Jar Jar does NOT ruin the movie for me. :P

Great steelbook
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Decided to buy all six steelbooks when they, as a collection, were on sale. Not disappointed at all. Sure, it's not the version some people wanted -- but they can but the version they want. I am okay with this one, and I knew what it was going to be well before I bought it. Thankful and happy.

Awesome looking
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Usually I buy steelbooks for future value. This time I bought them for the packaging. I already have all 6 films on blu ray but the price was right n I figured it was a solid addition to my collection of Blu rays n steelbooks. I enjoy having these and hope future buyers will too.

High Quality packaging, and excellent movies!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Obviously, you know the star wars movies are great. All I can really say, is that these steelbooks all look great next to each other! They have a main character on the front of each, and then the original poster art for each movie on the back. Really pleased with the steelbooks!

underrated
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.A lot of hate is poured onto this movie from others, but its one of my favorite movies in the series, from ewan and liam, to the lightsaber action and pod races. this is a great movie!

Very good movie.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had not seen this movie until recently. A very good adventure that introduces the Star Wars story at the beginning. Sets the story for the rest of the saga.

Great movie
||Posted . Owned for 4 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Love the SW universe, and wanted to add to my Plex media library. Bought the missing pieces (basically the middle trilogy) prior to them possibly getting vaulted by Disney or packaged in another fashion.

Poor Start

The Fandom Menace
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Unfortunately, the most reviled film of the saga. But don't mind it. I think it's the best prequel of the bunch. The podrace in surround sound and the dual-saber battle are the highlights of the whole trilogy and it's the last one (at the time) to be shot on film. The disc again lacks special features, but they do have two robust commentary tracks.

Great first movie to start a collection.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Plenty of action. Great special effects. Good story line. I definitely would recommend this movie to anyone who likes action and drama. I purchased this for my nephew for Christmas. He is starting his own collection of Star War movies.
