The package includes both the standard Blu-ray and the UHD Blu-ray. I've only watched the UHD version. If you like the Star Wars series of movies and want to own the best version of them that is currently available then I'd recommend that you purchase this version. I don't believe you'll be disappointed with the video or audio quality. I thought it looked and sounded excellent on my home theater system.

Huge fan of star wars now and the prequels are amazing

This 2K release of Phantom Menace looks great in HDR and sounds great with Atmos. The included MoviesAnywhere code lets you stream up to Dolby Vision as well should you have the right hardware. The beginning of the Skywalker saga was a great film for it's day and despite some somewhat slower sequences added a lot to the Star Wars universe and featured some epic lightsaber battles.

Great on 4k. Must have for Star Wars fan. Good looking. Kids love this movie.

I watch just the blu ray not 4k. The opening trade federation seen is beautiful. The whole movie looks fantastic. The sound of the pod race and explosions will blow your mind. The end lightsaber battle has killer sound. My JBL sub hits hard. The Gungans look detailed and terrific. All four battles at the end look and sound top notch. And Yoda very detailed every wrinkle shows up. Very impressive!! Must buy.

Star Wars in 4k, what a great picture! A must have with your collection!

The first prequel, and in my opinion, the best. Set thirty years before the original film, Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope, Episode I introduces young Anakin Skywalker (Jake Lloyd) and Obi-Wan Kenobi (Ewan McGregor), the wise old Jedi from the original series, who is a young apprentice himself. It is a time before the Empire when democracy reigned over the Galaxy in the Galactic Republic and when the Jedi knights were the guardians of peace and justice. However, when the greedy Trade Federation invades the planet of Naboo, two Jedi knights, Qui-Gon Jinn (Liam Neeson) and Obi-Wan Kenobi, are sent to settle the conflict. They join up with the queen of Naboo, Amidala (Natalie Portman), and Anakin Skywalker to take back the planet and fight a deadly menace lurking in the shadows - an evil Sith known as Darth Maul. An exciting and emotional action-packed adventure with great special effects, great characters, great performances, and a lot of suspenseful and well-staged action sequences. A great entry in the Star Wars saga, and a great first episode in the prequel trilogy! Highly recommended!

Watching from this from the 4K UHD Blu-ray is much better than streaming. The bit rate is better than you'll get via the internet. That means you'll see even better quality and detail in the picture. If you're a fan of Star Wars, this is a must buy. (Plus buying the movies separately is cheaper than the box set!)

Was missing this dvd and it took forever to find a place that sold them individually. Got it for a great price as I had a discount. The dvd case is nice

Active my was poor from young anakin and bad character in Jar jar. I knew all of this on the purchase so that’s a five the movie is a 2.

Episode I phantom menace is my personal favorite. I purchased this though Amazon but it came chipped and without sleeve. Best Buy’s came in perfect condition. Just without the slip which would have been nice.

I recently bought the 4k version of Star Wars: The Phantom Menace. I have always been a fan, and the 4k version is a great upgrade from my DVD copy. The visuals are stunning and sharp, and the Pod Race scene is so much fun to watch. A lot of great behind-the-scenes extra content to watch as well.

I purchased this star wars steelbook along with others for my husband. He loves the stories alone and the covers are just a plus.

Not too bad with 4k hdr. Atmos sound is okay could be better

This one of the greasiest sequels in movie history. The picture quality is excellent. The only thing I wish they would have included is the original version. Nice to have both original and updated versions.

Good quality steel book case with great design that embodies some of the best moments from this iconic film.

A must have for any Star Wars fan. If you are new to the series this is the first in the whole story.
