Great collectable gift for my kids at Christmas and the special effects only get better with re-releases

This one film had some of the best introductions to new characters within the whole Saga. It's one of my favorites and the 4K presentation is powerful and visually stunning!

Not the best. But a great way to get it going with some background. Many aspects of the scripting and characters were criticized, especially that of Jar Jar Binks, who was regarded by many members of the older fan community as toyetic—a merchandising opportunity rather than a serious character.

Good bluray version of okay Star Wars film. It's the collectable steelcase that's great!

I have a son with autism. He loves the series. This is one of his favorite movies.

Sounds great. Looks great. Makes the movie theatre experience come home the way it was intended. Story always took second place to the experience. Not my favorite, but nice to see it the way it was meant to be seen.

Need to add this movie to your collection of Star Wars in order to understand the saga

This review is about the 4K version, not the film itself. (We all know it has some issues, but it's fun and has some great moments.) This movie looks great in 4K. I'm very happy to upgrade to this version.

Its Star Wars, need i say more? I bought the first release of Star Wars on Blu Ray a few years back. Although the packaging is nice, i dont like how you have to remove and put back disks into the sleeves. I also didnt care for the artwork. My brother has requested all 6 movies on blu ray so i bought the re-released 6 disk collection only to return it a week later when i heard they were releasing them individually in steel book. Yes you loose the 3 disks of bonus content, but the steel books look so much nicer. Almost want to pick up a set for myself. The bonus content on these is extremely limited, just commentary, which is kind of disappointing, but i rarely watch bonus content anyways...

The steelbook looks great and we love having the full collection. This isn't the best Star Wars movie but kicks off the larger story.

Grew up on this one and was a blast in theater. Also the debut of darth maul!!

Great Movie I have the 6 movie Blue ray set but my Ep1 some how got scratch.

This is a nice steelbook edition. Best buy 4k steelbooks never disappoint.
