I just bought a UHD (4k) Blu-Ray player, and I had lost my Blu-Ray copy of "A New Hope," so I replaced it with the 4k version. I think it's a bit better quality than the regular Blu-Ray, but I'm not sure my eyes are talented enough to really see a big difference.

Got this on sale and it is so worth getting this in 4K. Love that it comes also with the digital copy as well as blue ray.

I wasn't planning on buying a whole new set, but since I found out about this steel case I was pretty pumped. Got out to the car and started to check them out. Got to this one and the dvd was out of the holder and the edges of the steel case is dented. Went back inside the store and they said I could have done it. I was in the parking lot, and all the other ones were just fine! Oh well I guess. Won't be going back to that store again.

The story that started it all! It looks amazing in full 4K!! The best it has ever looked. Worth the upgrade.

This is the definitive version of StarWars to purchase. I compared this to streaming from Disney+. This 4K HDR version is superior to the Disney+ app version. The colors and the clarity are top notch on the 4K bluray version. I noticed little details that I have never seen before when watching on the 4K bluray. Also having this physical version means that when I cannot stream from Disney+ I can still watch it on my 4K bluray player. This a worth the money in my opinion.

I've been eying on buying the Skywalker edition but a lot of reviews says it scratches the disc so I opted to buy the separate discs. This original trilogy is the best in the franchise and the rest is... Meh! But since I'm a starwars fan I need to complete the whole franchise. Too bad all of the discs doesn't have any slip cover. The transfer in this trilogy is just ok, not mind blowing. The AQ is great though.

Been a fan since the 80s so I needed the 4k. Love the picture.

Bought for my grandson & he watches it continuously

The 4k disc has the best video and audio for this hands down!! If you have the tv, the player and have at least a good 5.1 sound this disc is so good. The image looks amazing compared to the Blu-ray and the sound will fill your room with star wars effects goodness!! If you are on the fence wait for a deal and just grab it. If you are a die hard fan you are not reading this because you already have it. This is the best format for this film right now.

I like all the star wars movies especially the original ones.

The one that started it all. Even 40 years later it still stands the test of time. Great sound for 4k. Basic easy to follow story and for an adult who saw this in a theater as a 5 year old kid always a pleasant blast to the past.

Force fighting action packed Star Wars movie. One of the greatest casts of all time. Harrison Ford, Carrie Fisher, and Mark Hamill work well together as always. Death Star worthy . Battle On!

Love this in 4k!! Visually stunning film!! So great and very HD!!

The one that started them all. Home theater reference quality. After any new installations, I always give my home theater a run with the opening scene of the Star Destroyer chasing the Blockade Runner and this still holds epic in on my new 85 inch Sony Bravia 4k with surround sound and subwoofer thundering. Best these movies have ever looked and a good amount of special features.

This isn't just the best Star Wars has looked. This is one of the best Blu ray masters I've ever seen. The grain as almost entirely been removed yet the picture quality wasn't affected in the slightest. Plus, this master's color grading is directly based off of the theatrical release of the 1997 cut, a version of Star Wars that hasn't seen the light of day past laser disc.

What is there to be said. The movie that started it all. The classic good vs Evil embodied in Darth Vader and Luke Skywalker This movie will never get old and it looks and sounds great

I really enjoyed this remastered version on 4K Blu-ray , it was well done , with the exception of it being the special Editions , and not the original Theatrical cut of the film , but it is what it is , I would definitely recommend this movie , to any true Star Wars fan .
