Customers are saying

Customers recognize the exceptional gameplay and immersive story as major strengths of Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, with many praising the enhanced combat and exploration mechanics. However, some players have reported encountering performance challenges, including occasional glitches and frame rate inconsistencies. While many found the side quests and open world engaging, technical issues at launch were a concern for some, though updates have addressed many of these problems. Overall, the game's positive aspects outweigh the negative for many players.

Reviewing as of launch (non-updated game version.) Gane is virtually unplayable. From the intro cutscene Cal clips through the floor and falls indefinitely. Haven't gotten it to work on PS5, so no idea about the rest of the game.

The game is aight on PS5. I can’t really get into the story like I did the first one. Needs some serious patches. Game shouldn’t have been released like this.

I never really been a big fan of Star Wars but honestly I do love these Star Wars games like Fallen order and jedi survivor gameplay is really good and the story very well done... if you're a big Star Wars fan I'd highly recommend this game to you and if you're not a fan of Star Wars give it a try you won't regret it... Plus I haven't experience any carzy bugs other then walking though a wall lol , other then that game is running great.

No surprise here that the follow up for Star Wars: Jedi Fallen Order comes in as yet another addition to any list with a title similar to “Best Star Wars Games Ever Made.” Combat, story, character development, technical capabilities, exploration, and nostalgia are all top notch.

This game had big shoes to fill with how great Fallen Order was, and it succeeded in doing that and more. The storyline is compelling and keeps you wanting to play to finish it. There is a lot of side quests available so you don't run out of content quickly and the different fighting stances allows each player to find their own style.

Good But Performance Could Be Better

Overall I'm loving this game and the new abilities/skill tree's other than that though the games performance is a bit wonky. Frame drops and things not rendering very well at times and the performance mode being utter garbage. I personally don't think its so bad to not buy it because its still a great experience when playing in quality mode. Either way it could be better and im sure they will be fixing it soon enough. I WOULD GIVE IT A 4 STAR but best buy hasn't been clear about why the pre order codes arent being sent for the physical edition. Digital codes have the pre order bonus built with the game code. Once they fix this i will update to a 4 star.

    Good sequel

There's a lot this game does right that the first game didn't do at all, but there's an equal amount of things this game does wrong that the first one did far better with. I'll start with one question addressing the most personally frustrating issue I have with it: Why on earth would Kal die after jumping off a high point, and double jumping as he's about to hit the ground? Even the most basic knowledge of physics without an advanced education tells us that reversing your direction while falling (double jumping) in any other game with double jumping will 100% of the time cancel any and all impact damage. For me, this "minor" problem is almost a deal breaker. I own fallen order on my series x, PS4, ps5, and PC. I'm what you'd call "obsessed" with the first game. So much so that I've beat it 100% TWICE on Xbox and TWICE on my ps5, all on Jedi master mode, and yet double jumping before he hits the ground from a considerable height is perfectly logical, and fallen order, on all platforms will reverse your inertia, saving you from all damage by simply jumping again before impact. Bafflingly, this simple physical interactions is not in survivor. The visuals aren't very impressive, they look grainy AF, even with film grain toggled off, in performance and frame rate mode, and while they do look mostly like a step up, I just can't make myself stop noticing it. The first game had very clear, clean graphics with no visual noise like at all, on all platforms. I'm not hating on this game at all though. This is constructive criticism through and through, because I have only played 1 hour of this game so far, and it's been an overwhelmingly positive experience.. I love the quirky feeling controls, fighting is enhanced over the first game, and everyone so far looks so much deeper than FO. You can even change colors of clothes now. I love it but the little details are the most important and of you're reading this, respawn, please guys, PLEASE fix the fall damage after a double jump and I'll forgive the fuzzy, static looking visuals and screen tearing on series x played on an LG AI web OS thinq 120hz 4ktv and looking almost not as good as fallen order did playing on my xbone/PS4.

Even if you dont like Star Wars give this game a try its so much fun. The story is engaing and not too overbearing or overwhelming. Gameplay is smooth and the animations and cutscenes are some of the best from any games to date. Buy this game or youll be missing out of a hell of a star war adventure

Beautiful game that really shows off the capabilities PS5. The game itself is much more puzzle oriented than Jedi Fallen Order. Sounds that come through the controller are a nice touch.

It's easily the best of Star Wars right now - compared to the other games, movies, shows, you name it - and offers up a fantastic gaming experience that seems to be so lacking elsewhere. It doesn't try too hard to do anything special, and because of that, it feels special.
