I picked up Jedi: Survivor for the PS5, and I have to say, it’s an incredible experience! The graphics are absolutely stunning, with detailed environments that make you feel like you’re truly exploring a galaxy far, far away. The PS5's capabilities shine here, with fast load times and smooth performance throughout. The combat is a real highlight—lightsaber battles are fluid and intense, with plenty of moves and Force abilities to keep things fresh. The story is engaging and well-paced, with a protagonist you’ll care about and a narrative that hits all the right emotional notes. Overall, Jedi: Survivor is a must-have for any Star Wars fan or anyone who loves action-adventure games. It’s a great addition to the PS5 library, and I couldn’t recommend it more!

Great game! Better than the first one in nearly every way. The open world feels alive and begs to be explored. The combat is improved over the first entry and offers new stances including a blaster and a “heavy” saber. Multiple destinations are interesting and can be returned to as new abilities unlock. The story also feels a little more solid this time out as npc characters bring more to the table. If you are a fan of Star Wars and cool open worlds this is a game i highly recommend.

This game is amazing! Everything they did in the first game has been turned up to an 11! The gameplay is amazing and all the new lightsaber variant are sick! The story is great and really shows you the all the struggles after order 66. Only complaint I have that isn’t a huge issue is that sometimes the frame rate dips but hopefully that’ll be improved in a future patch. Besides that this one of my favorite games of this year and definitely deserving of the title “BEST STAR WARS GAME EVER.”

The game is awesome nowadays. I bought it on the launch window and perfomance was sure bad. I can’t believe they released it like that. Now it runs awesome. It’s a great sequel to Jedi Fallen Order, and improves on every aspect.

Sweet game and story. You can never go wrong with a star wars game either. The graphics are awesome. Go buy it n have fun.

The prodction value, storyline, performances, and narrative direction are top-notch, worthy of being considered next to the feature films (and some of the Disney+ shows). Oh yeah - and the gameplay is tigyt, too. Fast paced and interesting exploration, rarely frustrating (solved with a temporary adjustment of the difficulty setting). A mist for SW fans and scifi/adventure gamers alike.

What a game, my personal goty for 2023. A perfect sequel to the first game. Delivery and condition is too notch. The biggest let down of Jedi survivor is that after 9 months of the game being out, it can and will overheat a PlayStation 5. I got my ps5 in September of 2022 and this is the only game to completely crash my console. It’s honestly the only bug I’ve encountered but due to being such a big bug i feel obligated to dock points for that. Overall I encourage anyone who even likes Star Wars to try this out. I got my platinum in about 36 hours with an hour or two of messing around. I played on the equivalent of normal mode so your difficulty 100% will Influence your play time.

Fantastic story. I was enthralled the whole time. I had about 4-5 minor bugs, nothing too crazy. Maybe I was one of the lucky ones? Overall if you are a star wars nerd like me you will love all the lore this game provides. Even if you aren't a star wars fan, I think the combat, action and adventure elements will satisfy you. Great game overall! Had fun with it

Does jedi survivor have its issues? Yes. Did that stop me from playing it hlurs on end? No. It runs pretty well on ps5 in quality mode. Small bugs here and there but nothing that ruined my experience. Great gameplay paired with a great cast and a great story. At least a 9/10 and contendor for game of the year.

I played a bit of the first game but got busy with school and life. Picked this up on sale and I am thoroughly enjoying it. This game allows you to select different saber stances and upgrade Cal as you see fit. The worlds are dense and beautiful, with lots of character interactions to be found. Combat is exciting but not too easy. If you're a fan of Star Wars I would recommend this game.

Ill start with the graphics issue. Yes, it sucks. The framerstes dropped like crazy. But, they have been fixing it and i can barely see drops now. Other than that, the story is more intriguing, the narrative is better, graphic details are better, and gameplay is mich better even when it was akready good.

Having dedicated 60+ hours to exploring every corner of this game, I can comfortably say that Jedi Survivor has largely delivered on my expectations as a huge fan of its predecessor. 4.5/5 5 hours into, I was surprised to find so many people canning it for reasons that I don't think are fair - most 1 star reviews were referencing the download speed and graphic performance - but is the former not just an internet problem? It's a big download, but so many games are these days. Playing on the Series S, I haven't really had any noticeable performance issues. Even Fallen Order was occasionally laggy around water or smoke when I played it on the XB1, but this has been a much smoother experience, and any performance issues certainly aren't worse than any other game I've played. Visually, Jedi Survivor is stunning. Much like FO, the attention to detail on every surface of the game is second to none, and a huge part of the reason I was willing to spend so much time playing it. Every planet has a very distinct feel, making it easier than ever to be completely immersed in the Star Wars universe.

This game is perfection on so many levels! Gameplay and story are better than the original! They took everything that awesome about fallen order and made it better by expanding it! My only complaint is the occasional performance issues as if it needed to be beta tested more even though the game was delayed once already. It should have crashed at all and the visuals glitches shouldn’t have happened either. Sure they patched some right away but still they shouldn’t have happened at all. I’d rather a further delay then to have to deal with that stuff even if it rarely happened for me. My only other thing is really something I have to deal with haha is that I’m such a hardcore Star Wars fan I played it so much I beat it and platinum’d it in just under 3 weeks. I’m sad I’m done with it, sure I could replay it and try it on harder difficulties but that first time feeling is gone haha. I loved everything about it and hope there is a 3rd game from respawn!

I have really enjoyed both games in this series. Together they are telling, in my opinion, the best story to come out of Star Wars since Disney acquired the property in the early 2010s. The mixture of original elements with ties to the films and TV shows is really satisfying as a long-time fan of the series. The main cast is extremely likeable and easy to invest in, especially Cal and his mentor Cere. Jedi Survivor isn't the most stable game on the PS5, and I encountered a few loading issues, glitches and jank, but its load times are quick enough that it was easy to laugh those things off even if they interfered with gameplay. At the time of release it ran a LOT worse, so be mindful if you're reading older reviews that the devs have patched this to run much better since the early days. The lightsaber combat continues to feel great, and the addition of new styles like the Blaster makes it much more fun to play around with different playstyles. If you haven't played the first game (Jedi: Fallen Order), you really should start there to get the full story of these characters and their goals. But Survivor is easily my favorite Star Wars game, and I can't wait to see where they take these characters in the third entry.

As a big fan of the Star Wars trilogy I could not be more happy on how they depicted the story, it's a non stop action game and there's so much cool things to do and the graphics are out of this world.

This game is really fun and really expands on what was started in fallen order. The issue is that it has some frame rate and resolution issue which doesn't take away from the game to muhc but noticed about. There are also a few bugs like game crashed whuch shows maybw this game neeeded another month or 2 but othee than that the game is so much fun

Fun game, good storyline. Was cheaper to download the digitsl version. Figured that out after i purchased it.

Great story. Builds off everything the original did well. Exploring is a blast. Different stances and customizable attire help make the characters yours. Like with the original, also had occasional performance issues when enemies filled the screen.

Fun game if you want to play as a Jedi! There are now more abilities than Jedi: Fallen Order, in terms of Force tricks and lightsaber styles and attacks. Beautiful planets, new fun ways to get around quicker. Most everything from the first game is improved upon in some way, but it still feels very much the same game series. Occasionally I run into areas and get stuck for a few minutes whether it be a puzzle or I'm just not seeing what I'm supposed to do, there are options to assist with that which I do not use, some retreading of ground you've already been over. I'm not quite done. Probably two thirds or so through it I would assume based on how many skill points I've accrued. Thus far the story has been fun, hard to say if it is better or worse than Fallen Order's story at this point. This is not a bad thing. If you're into Star Wars lore, you should again be pleased with this story.
