Good game
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I haven't seen everything in the game yet, but in my 20+ hours of playtime I can say it's a good game. If you're someone who loves star wars, this game could fit well with you. They've put such an amount of detail in the exploration, the references they leave that fans will love, and the small detail is incredible. The reputation system is cool to manage with the syndicates, as they all offer you advantages and disadvantages depending on your reputation. I do wish there were more roleplay actions you'd be able to do such as, ordering a drink at a cantina. The game does have its problems with its bugs and glitches. You will notice some texture problems with the quality randomly decreasing, or I something game breakinf like going through the map. Though that's only happened once for me. Overall, a fun game star wars fans can enjoy with some problems that I hope will be fixed in future updates.

An awesome Star Wars adventure.
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The game is a beautiful massive open world in the Star Wars universe and full of things to do. I would have liked to have been given the option of male or female character, but regardless the game is still a great game.

||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This game has been surprisingly good for my pleasure, glad i took a chance on this and got this when i did because listening to the internets opinion shows me that i would’ve missed out on this opportunity.

Star Wars Scoundrels Make Excellent Alternate
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a refreshing take in terms of a Star Wars game. As much as I love using force powers and swinging around a lightsaber, exploring the underworld of Star Wars with nary a rare mention of Jedi and/or Sith besides *REDACTED SPOILER PLAY TO FIND OUT* was a great premise for this title. However, there were a few noticeable bumps that keep me from giving it the full rating. Pros: - For an open world game, the maps were right in the sweet spot in terms of size and how "alive" they felt. They didn't feel like wide swaths of just point A to point B eye candy or felt like they were filled of repetitive encounters. They also look gorgeous in 4k. - Both the speeder travel and starship/dogfight mechanics were fluid and made traversal of both planet and space fast paced. - Gunplay with your blaster is varied and a bevy of unlock options allow you to set how you want to shoot first. - The performances are great, Kay Vess and ND-5 in particular. - The criminal syndicates you work for have their own goals and aesthetics, which add color and vibrancy to the world. Add in the Rebels and Empire inbetween Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi, and you have a wide variety of characters to interact with. - Nix. Your little friend is a great companion. Never in your way nor does his AI distract from the gameplay experience, in fact, it often enhances it. Plus, LOOK AT HIM. You can hear Disney executives chuckling maniacally over how much money another cuddly sidekick is going to make them in plushies alone. - The fact that I can enjoy a large amount of this game without being hawked endless DLC with additional cost, IN A UBISOFT GAME. 50/50 - The story, neither a pro nor a con, mainly because it feels clunky at times, but ultimately not a huge detractor from the overall experience. Cons - The facial animations out of cutscenes range from very good to "ok their mouth flaps don't even match" - The syndicates basically have the same fighting styles with different skins, which in hour 50 kinda makes gunfights ho-hum save a few different "heavy" enemies and the death troopers. - The syndicate missions also get very repetitive, and outside of the main story, expert missions, and intel side missions feel stale. Unless you need reputation or credits, they are easy to look over. - Even though it is not thrown in my face to purchase, Ubisoft still could not resist hiding a lot of content behind a $50 season pass. At least it isn't as flagrant or as tedious as what they have turned Assassin's Creed into, but we might have to thank Disney allowing them to make a Star Wars game for that. Overall, this is a great little game to pick up and play through to experience a galaxy far far away from outside the moral shakesperian epic of the light and dark side of the force. It is just fun to play a soundrel who is out for the next big score in a galaxy at war.

Fun Game
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. If you are a Star Wars fan, this game is for you. The story is fun and the graphics are good. The gameplay is repetitive and too much sneaking around but other than that, it’s a good time checking out the SW universe.

My, my, what do we have here?!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The first open world game that allows you to be your own scoundrel. Some missions require stealth and other you can blast your way through. Graphic are good and the storyline engaging. You will have hours of fun even if you're not a fan of Star Wars.

Great Star Wars game
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Awesome Star Wars game! I did encounter a few bugs here and there but nothing really bad or breaking. Graphics is excellent. Missions are interesting and the main story is pretty good (not as bad as most reviews give it). If you love Star Wars and ok with stealth games, then this is a game for you!

Fun but generic. Wait for a sale
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The game is fun for what it is. A Ubisoft open world game reskinned as Star Wars. Nothing special but entertaining enough if you like Star Wars and games like far cry or assassins creed. Worth the full price? NO. Wait for a deep deep discount

Solid Star Wars game
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.A very entertaining game. The graphics are pretty good and so is the story. I am not a big fan of the stealth section and also wish you could have created your own character. Overall a solid game for Star Wars fans.

Open world to explore a galaxy far far away
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This game has been amazing. The graphics, the environments, the abilities system, and the missions are all great. Getting a chance to explore the star wars galaxy in an open world game is amazing, flying through space, exploring caves on tatooine, and sneaking through imperial bases and space stations is incredible. As a star wars fan I am beyond pleased with this game and having a blast exploring more of the star wars galaxy in it!

Underrated Game
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Underrated game. I don’t know why it got hated on at launch. Sadly a lot of people jump on a bandwagon and think it’s cool and trendy to hate on things. Regardless, if you’re in the mood for a single player story driven open world adventure, this is definitely right up your alley! Give it a try!

Average not Great
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Personally I am not impressed after a few hours of play. I'm trying to like this game but so far I am disappointed. This game is all about stealth and stealing. If your looking for shootouts, they a far a few between so far in my progress. I like stealth games but Star Wars Outlaws fails. The stealth in this game is constant and tedious to say the least. One mistake and it's really mission over. Poor checkpoints during these missions as well. Gameplay is generic and repetitive. The game does have big open worlds for exploration and you get the feel your in the Star Wars universe. Just keep in mind that I am only into the game a few hours and it could get better but as it is now, this is an average game that I would only buy on sale.

Great game for Star Wars fans
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Fascinating game with a pretty massively immersive and beautiful world. Lets you experience the world of Star Wars through the eyes of a rising outlaw. There’ll be less main hero energy of slashing through enemies with lightsabers, but instead you’ll be sneaking, thieving, spying, etc. Game has gotten better with updates since release. Would recommend

Okay star wars game
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Its an okay star wars game. If you want a jedi star wars game then this is not for you. It is more of a shoot and run or do stealth type game. I'm only about 6 hours into it and so far I'm not hooked but it is keeping my attention. I wish you could shoot from your speed bike and maybe you can later on when you progress more, but I have not seen anyone talking about it or seen an upgrade for it.

Way better than expected
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Never played at launch. Heard it was in a bad place. The devs have put out updates and changes that have helped. If you are a star wars fan it's definitely a great purchase. The world is fantastic. Game play is satisfying. Definitely exceeded my expectations.

Good game, rushed release.
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. While the game was highly anticipated, the game is buggy. The game consistently crashes. I do not want to say that it is rinse and repeat with the missions, but it comes close. The game is big and there is a lot of opportunity for things to do. Hopefully some more updates come out soon to patch a lot of the issues.
