This set includes episodes I-VI. It's the perfect way to catch up to speed before watching EpisodeVII the Force awakens and the Rogue One. For beginners, it is recommended to watch the original trilogy (IV,V, VI) followed by the newer trilogy (I, II,III), although George Lucas recommends watching it chronologically. Either way, this set has 1080p definition which is a big upgrade from the original but it does not have 4K. Actually, none of the Star Wars movies have been released in 4K. Still this is a welcome addition to any household that loves classic movies that you can watch over and over again.

I had seen the original trilogy as a child and now this boxset is letting me share these movies with my sons. It is a good way to learn the story line in a chronological order before hitting up the movie theater. The original trilogy is a good as I remembered it, though Lucas has made some digitally changes.

I own the VHS version, the DVD Version and now the Blue Ray version. I decided to pop in episode one just to see what all the fuss was about. I was blown away by the sound and detail in the video. I ended up watching episodes two and three back-to-back. Very happy and surprised at how good this package is.

We've been wanting the complete (so far) Star Wars series of movies for a long time and this was a good buy, especially for Blue Ray. If you don't have the complete set, this is the way to go - a little more reasonable than buying each movie separately. This would make a great gift as well.

Some of the greatest movies ever made, Episode IV "A New Hope" will always simply be "Star Wars" to me. IV, V and VI are much stronger films than I, II and III, thanks to the editing and input on those films provided by Marcia Lucas, George's ex-wife. These films should be required viewing for everyone!!

Great piece of science fiction movie history. Its fun to watch the transition in technology. Some things may have been altered from original film. Some good and others not done so well. Either way the movies are a keeper for me because I grew up on them!

It's just what you'd expect at a great price. The only issue we had was watching them on the XBox One which is our only Blue Ray. It took a few weeks to find a link that told us to HOLD ONTO THE MOVIE WHILE THE XBOX TRIES TO PULL IT IN!!! Who would have thought that's all it took to play a blue ray!

I have always been missing one movie or another from the set. With the new movie out, my kids wanted to see all of the older ones prior to going to see The Force Awakens. We haven't watched the bonus material yet, but it is great to have Blu-Ray of all of the older movies, especially the originals.

If you like Star Wars, and need a new copy of the movies for home, this is your one choice. I know there are issues that fans have in terms of changes to these versions versus older releases, but if you take this set on it's own, it's the first 6 Star Wars movies in one convenient set.

This was a Christmas gift for my friend. He is a very big star wars fan. This is the gift he wanted. He told me he did not have the first six movies on blue ray. This surprised me. He being so into star wars and all. He loves it. Now he can watch the saga from the beging.

This was a family pic my wife are my daughter had never seen any Star Wars at all when I was growing up I seen 4 5 6 but it's been over 20 years since so I didn't really remember any we didn't want to watch it in the order they were filmed instead and the order the story goes so this pack with perfect for us started with one and they do it 6 found episode 3 to be the best for us there is tons of extras that you can watch after you're done with the movies deleted scenes are there as well interviews nice box overall good item we all felt it was overpriced and I still think so but it is what it is

Anyone who loves the Star Wars movies will say the same thing in a review. What I really appreciated about this purchase is Best Buy gave me a price match without any hassle. This was the first time I asked them to match a price and it was seamless.

I wanted to watch all the Star Wars movies on Blu-Ray and I bought this so I could watch them all! Really good quality and colors! I'm watching them with Sony's 4K Upscaling Blu-Ray player on a 75" Sony X850D television.

If you are a great fan of the Star Wars films, this set contains all six Episodes in brilliant Blu-ray format. The visual and sound quality is awesome. The only negative I have with this set are the special feature discs. They do not include all of the previously released documentaries and featurettes from other DVD releases. Also, the special features are laid out in a very confusing way on the discs, and the load time for the special features is sometimes insanely long. Overall, a must have for Star Wars fans.

The mystery behind the latest star wars movie make you thirsty to find out from the past episodes. I am glad that I bought the complete saga and relive every stories. My children are already hooked up to the phenomenon movie. A great feeling to explain the different characters and stories.

I had the first six films in various formats but saw this collection in the store and decided to upgrade to one format. I bought a second one for my best friend for Christmas. He is such a Star Wars fan that he will go crazy. He may forget to eat Christmas Day for watching the films in order.

Loved it !! Full collection of the greatest sci-fi saga. No problems with any of the disc, and the picture quality was Amazing !! Seeing it in this format also added audio quality that brings the saga even more to life!! Only regret was I hadn't gotten this sooner !!

I received the box set as a birthday gift, I love star wars it gets my imagination going, in the distant future I'm pretty sure this is how its going to be from the star wars universe. For every fan of the star wars franchise. Can't wait for the upcoming star wars episode VII The Force Awakens.

I had never seen any of the movies before purchasing this and figured it was time to catch up on the hype. I've watched 4 of them so far and I'm hooked! Plus, the blu ray quality is awesome! Had to exchange it 3 times because the cases were all defective with cracks and dents and that's the only reason I gave it 4 instead of 5 stars but the content definitely deserves 5. Definitely worth owning the set and I liked the Darth Vader cover better than the earlier release of the saga with the Anakin cover. I was told though, that the earlier one is a better collectible with more literature.

Whether you've seen all of the movies, some of the movies, or none of the movies, you're reading reviews on this product and considering a purchase...just buy it. If you don't enjoy the movies, the person to your left or right will. Well, maybe not Episode 1, but even it has it's moments.
