Somehow they have been able to take the older, outdated special effects films and make them look bright and crisp! I have really enjoyed all the extras that they also put in to this set, it's been very interesting to watch the behind the scenes and also the blooper outtakes are hilarious.

As mentioned previously, even though the original versions of episodes four, five and six are not included, I still find them to be enjoyable with the remastering that they did. Still recommended, especially at the great price I got it for! =)

I have seen these movies several times, but Blue Ray makes picture and sound so much better. We just saw Episode VII and wanted to watch the first six episodes again. Awesome picture and sound on the Blue Ray. We have a 65" TV and with the Blue Ray it is like being in the movie theater.

Great price for six great movies. Since the new Star Wars is in theaters, it's a great way to sit down relax and watching all the old episodes to refresh yourself before going to see the new Star Wars. This is great for old fans or people who are looking for some great movies to watch.

This Blue Ray collection is a great addition to the Episode 7 and Rogue One Blue Rays currently available in the marketplace, however; would still like to see Blue Ray versions of the original theatrical versions of Episodes 4, 5 and 6 prior to the updated editions.

To have all 6 Star Wars films in one place is awesome. I bought these on Cyber Monday for $50 and it was well worth it. 3 of these movies are classics and the other 3 are just there as gap fillers to some extent but definitely worth owning for any fan of cinema.

I bought this set so that I could prepare for the latest installment of the Star Wars saga. It did no disappoint. The sounds and the graphics were better than I remembered and the story is stellar. The quality was better than what I had seen streaming so it was worth it to my family.

A collectors dream. This box set is something that I have always wanted. There are many options available on the market and unfortunately none of them are in 3D and none incluse the digital copy of the films. However, I believe that this box is the best option available for the price.

Love these movies! I was worried the Blu-ray wouldn't look good on the original movies, but it looks amazing. The box it comes in is also a cool collectors item. I would definitely recommend this for someone who doesn't own the movies or wants to upgrade their collection to Blu-ray.

Pretty good deal. The set comes in a nice sleeve box and case that holds all the movies. The blueray quality is fantastic and it comes with a lot of special features. I cant say much else I mean its Star Wars and its the most cost effective way to get all of the movies at once.

It was nice to have all the films in one set. It helps you remember everything about Star Wars especially if your going to go see the new movie. The digitally remastered series 456 was well worth it. For the whole set the price was not to expensive so I was able to afford it.

Had to buy the entire set on blue ray. We of course bought them on VHS, then on DVD, but when I saw the entire set on sale in blue ray...we had to get it. Love the franchise and so happy the new movie is so good!!!

For someone who either hasn't seen Star Wars, or at least hasn't seen them redefined and digitally cleaned up, this movie pack makes for a great addition to the home theater. Very good set of movies to pick-up, especially since a new movie is rolling out at the end of the year!

I won't go into details about the movie description because you should know the plot of the films by now. I will just say that the video quality is top notch. I owned the films on DVD and this is definitely a step up. Also tons of bonus features. A must buy for any fan.

I recently upgraded my old VHS Starwars set for this Blu-Ray set. The Blu-Ray discs work great and the remastered pieces on the originals was really well done. The only reason you wouldn't like this product is if you're not a Star Wars fan; then this set is probably not for you.

What is there to say? The Star Wars trilogy speaks for itself. Of course, they are all phenomenal. Great to binge watch before seeing The Force Awakens in the theatre! Highly recommend owning because they are classics and great entertainment for the entire family!

One thing I have always said about Star Wars (IV-VI), is that the effects and sets are nearly timeless. There was such effort put into the original model sets. This "updated" version has "new" CGI scenes that now with the advancement in computer graphics, make it look dated and out of place. The original puppets are timeless. This would be a much better set if it were original in bluray, and if you wanted to watch it withe new scenes you could do so from the extras. Moving to the extras. They are much to be desired. I feel like they were just thrown together without much substance.

OK, I waited forever for these to come down in price. They barely did. Since I already own them all on DVD, I wasn't in a hurry. Don't get unless you really want hi-def. HOURS AND HOURS OF BONUS Got it to watch the old films in a new way in prep for episode 7 in a few months.

I'll just say this, the bad news is that sadly it's the Special Edition versions that George Lucas tinkered with. The good news is they look absolutely stunning on HD! Until Disnet caves to fan demands and releases the unaltered versions, this is the best you're going to get.

thoroughly enraptured by the bonus discs. they contain info on sets, costumes, and more than can be listed in any review. the DVDs are typical Disney Quality, but the bonus discs are more than worth the price of the set. I have recommended it to several friends already.
