Was happy to finally pick this up on Star Wars day for a deal. The packaging has a great layout on the inside but I found removing the disks to be a little bit of trouble

Great to have the iconic films on Blu ray. However, I expected more extras for the big price tag. Especially since I wouldn't have purchased episodes I, II, or III anyways.

This saga is a great collection adder. it has many features and all of the movies in one nice case. i love the booklet idea for the case actually holding the disk.

this blu-ray set is great/ a must have for the upgraded picture and sound, if you dont mind all the little changes that almost took the edge away from 4,5, and 6. and do i have to mention no original 4,5,&6 as for the extras, way too many menus just to see 5 min. here and there. just give me a list, felt like i was playing a menu game with all the left, right, up and downs i had to press to finally view everything. but there were a hand full of really good extras.

I've been so excited!! Star Wars, now with the clarity of Blu-Ray!! But with the capacity of a BD, its too bad they didn't include the original theatrical releases on the same disc along with the special editions. I'll wait for that version to come out... It only took 10 years for them to do that on the DVD, so how long will I have to wait this time? :(

This box set is nice so that you can have all of the movies on blu ray. The problem is that the originals have been edited as they are re-releases. There are some differences from the originals such as added dialogue. I would like a blu ray released that is identical to the original movies.

This box set includes the Special Editions (1997), not the true originals that were released in the theaters in 1977, 1980 and 1983. So, Han does not shoot first. Boba Fett appears in Star Wars, later called A New Hope. And countless other CGI effects added by Lucas for the 1997 Special Editions. There is no excuse, given the available technology and space capacity in a Blu Ray Disc format to not include fully remastered, 5.1 Dolby Digital audio, 16x9 Anamorphic versions of the true original movies. Many fans have made it known that this would be a much coveted extra, but Mr. Lucas has refused.

This "Complete Sage" isn't complete at. Sure it has all 6 movies, but the "original" trilogy isn't Original at all. It's the Enhanced edition. You know the ones that were released with all those CGI enhancements. My "Favorite" one is the replacing of the "ghosts" at the end of Return of the Jedi. That was one my favorite scenes, and George Lucas messed it up. This does NOT contain the ORIGINAL version of the original trilogy.

Despite the inclusion of some never-before-seen deleted scenes, the movies themselves have been artistically compromised, both in terms of content and A/V presentation. The "prequel" trilogy is a series of offensively bad ideas, and the "original" trilogy has been dumbed down to match George Lucas's devolving storytelling abilities. This set should be avoided!

I love Star Wars. I wanted to get the saga on bluray before Force Awakens was released. No place on the box did it say special edition. The special edition was a joke and the first of many bad decisions by Lucas. I went to return it, they wouldn't let me.
