If you want to catch up on the Stars Wars franchise and like the HD quality of BluRay, then this is your answer! Episodes1-3 are infamously the oddballs of the franchise, and plotwise they are ambiguous and the dialogue is corny. That said the visuals are fantastic and hold up well even today. The original trilogy Episodes 4-6 are awesome!

I had the videos, then the dvds, then the extended sets; now I have the blue-ray complete set. Obviously, all movies are the most recent versions, extended and remastered. (IE: Hayden Christiansen appears at the end as a ghost Darth Vader)

This is the 1st time I've purchased any of the StarWars movies. I've always borrowed them from family before. I saw this set while at the store making a card payment. Looked great and couldn't pass it up. The art book is very cool and the special features are great. Great set to pick up if you want to introduce your kids to star wars from the beginning.

cant go wrong with owning all 6 Star Wars movies and 3 bonus DVDs! nothing beats the image quality of Blu-Ray DVDs. The only bad thing about the set was the case that holds all 9 DVDs broke very easily when I first opened it. Otherwise, this is an A+ item to purchase at Best Buy!

This includes all of the past Star Wars movies. They include the updated special effect classic movies along with the prequels. Glad to see them in one set to buy. Wish they came with the digital version also but they don't. The quality is great. If you are someone who already doesn't own it, it will be a great addition to your sic-fi collection.

Still the franchise all sci fy and fantasy that sets the standard. anyone who grew up loving the original trilogy will love this and for those weened on the prequels well the originals are still the best we have done marathon's before and can't wait to do them in blu ray. The prequels can be hard to stomach at times but even they have there flashes of brilliance.

I ordered the Star Wars Complete Saga blu-rays when Best Buy was running their daily sale leading up to Christmas. The collection together is awesome although the prequels are pretty terrible. Great way to catch up on the Star Wars universe before watching any of the new movies (although The Last Jedi also kind of sucked)!

Bought this 6 pack plus 3 bonus discs so my girlfriend and I can catch up on the Star Wars saga. We've seen the recent 3 films and it has been years since I saw the originals and prequels. She's never seen the first six. Needless to say this film does not disappoint. Get it watch it love it and may the force be with you.

The Blu-ray version is much cleaner than the DVD version I had from 8 years ago. Absolutely a ton of bonus features on the extra content discs. Some of the bonus stuff was the same on the DVD versions, but 80 hours or so should be enough for me. Great video transfer, couldn't tell difference in the audio transfer but it sounded great!

the picture is a lot clearer... I would recommend the Blu-ray for sure over the regular dvd set... how ever I wouldn't run out and purchases this at full price due to the high pricing of $89.99. if you watch you can find this trilogy on sale for no cheaper than $84.99... which is pretty decant if you think about it. you get 9 blu-rays for the price.

Picked these up so my partner and I could marathon through the first six Star Wars movies. Nice compact set of all the movies. Blu-ray quality is good (even if sometimes it's annoying to see the updates made by Lucas over the years). It was fun rewatching them all, even the ones I don't like as much. Recommend for any Star Wars fans.

This complete collection includes all the new remastered additions and also extras that are invaluable to any Star Wars fan!! My only complaint is that Best Buy had it in an anti theft wire that messed up the edges of the box. Since every item is that way I suggest you order online and cross your fingers that it's not warped or folded in the edges.

These are very high quality transfers of the remastered special editions of the original trilogy and the prequels. The sound was particularly good, so much so that when my daughter and I watched Attack of the Clones, my wife had to leave the main floor of the house. My only criticism is that they didn't include the original theatrical versions of the original trilogy somewhere in the vast array of special features in these disks. But this wasn't enough to keep me from getting this set. Finally getting my daughter to watch Star Wars with me overwhelmed this reluctance. Now I just have to wait until a similarly great transfer of the originals is available and Disney will get more of my money.

I vaguely remember these films from my childhood. I needed this collection and it is AMAZING. Great to watch these films prior to the release of episode 7 in December. I honestly could do without the cgi in episodes 4-6, but overall great package and it is the definitive collection to get unless DIsney releases something even better down the line.

I can't say anything to the changes in the movies I have heard about. But to me they look great, crisp and modern. We bought this for my son for Christmas and he was delighted. The packaging is simple and easy to navigate. I would definitely gift this again, to any Star Wars fan.

The picture and sound quality are both excellent. I would recomend getting the older version with the Anakin cover. The discs are exactly the same, just the packaging is a book style as opposed to the standered bluray case of the newer version with the Darth Vador cover. Either way the quality is excellent, you"ll want to marathon all six.

This is a good way to get the whole story for the lowest price. They look great on screen and the sound is excellent. When the revisions (CGI creatures, new scenes, etc) in the original trilogy show up I just have to grin and bear it since the unaltered originals are not available on DVD. Such is life. I have enjoyed owning this product.

I mean seriously- it's the Star Wars movies on Blu Ray. How can you pass that up? I went back and forth with deciding if I should get this set when I heard about all of the "improvements" and tweaks that Lucasfilm made for these releases... we all know that we want the original theatrical releases out on Blu Ray, but for the price that Best Buy has these going for, these will definitely do just fine- especially because they're our only option. Will I buy them again if they're released as just the theatrical cuts? Sure. Am I excited about the hours upon hours of special features in this set? You bet I am. Definitely worth it.

My wife brought the complete Star Wars 9 Blu-ray Disc set for Christmas for me. I was beyond ecstatic. We have watched every episode in the set with the grandkids who absolutely love it too. The quality of the disc is superb! I love the behind the scenes discs which my grandson was able to see so he could understand the entire series.

I guess this makes the 6th time I've bought these movies. Oh well, can't wait for the special force awakens edition. Anyways the movies look better than ever. Lots of additional content on the bonus discs too. So if your one of two people who don't have these or like rebuying a new edition of them every two years like me, then get em.
