I have seen all the star wars movies since they came out and since new movie was premiering this week decided to get the whole series and to enjoy them from the very first installment and trust me it did not disappoint and am very excited at having the entire saga

Picked this set up during the $49.99 doorbuster a week ago so it was too good to pass up. I have the original VHS, THX VHS, DVDs, Limited Edition Theatrical DVDs with no edits, etc., so I had no urge to pick this up in the past (due to the Lucas edits). Not that the edits bother me so much, since Star Wars is Star Wars, and I enjoy either versions, but for the non sale price, not containing digital codes like the newer ones do made it hard to purchase even if the BR provides the superior image quality. Full price I would never purchase this, but for $50, it is well worth it for the wealth of content it contains.

This review is going to be bias as i love star wars. When it was first released on blu ray i bought that version. The packaging was nice, but i didnt care for the art work, nor the way discs were stored. This is a gift for someone, but Im sure they will love it.

This includes all six movies, the original trilogy and the more recent trilogy of episodes 1,2 and 3. They are all in amazing blu-ray HD. I am a huge fan of Star Wars and this collection has it all. Lots of extras, deleted scenes and things for every fan. I highly recommend this product for anyone who is a fan of either trilogy or all 6 movies.

Its hard to believe how much better DVD movies are until you see a direct comparison of the same movie. My DVD version, while a bit old now, is washed out, or grainy compared to this set. Couldn't find it locally on BluRay, but this set is terrific anyway!

Finally got my hands on this at a great sale of 69.99. Best set so far. Much better than the book version i bought, as the book version has the discks so snug and embedded into the cardboard page that it makes it very hard to get the disks out. And they can possibly scratch that way. Buy this version....

By now this is probably the third or fourth purchase of the Star Wars saga by most fans. From VHS to DVD to Blu-ray... In various configurations. So we all know the films by heart and there are really no surprises with this box set. We get decent HD transfers of the series and the usual extras. The main reason for my purchase of Blu-ray set was to introduce it to a new generation, my daughter. The DVDs don't cut it on a large screen HD TV any more, so had to pop for the better resolution Blu discs. Price is fairly steep when compared to similar saga sets, but what are you gonna do? I'm sure a 4K package is on the horizon, too. And around we go.

When this item 1st came out, I was a bit overwhelmed. However, after purchasing the complete Star Wars set I have enjoyed watching it with friends and family. Having all of the movies in one box makes things so much easier for a movie night. The Blu-ray quality is great and the extras were a lot of fun. The price point was perfect!

Great Collection of Iconic films. I grew up with the original 3, my children with the next 3, and now we look forward to watching the final 3 together. I bought my parents a Blue Ray player at Best Buy (great price), just so they could borrow the first 6 before seeing the New One. Cant believe they never saw any of them

Been a long time since I've seen some of these movies. After debating of buying them one at a time or just going all out and buying the DvD set I finally went for the DvD set. Its a great addition to my fan/nerd movie collection and I've already got Episode 7 on pre-order cannot wait to binge watch all these in a row.

Really liked having all 6 Star Wars movies in one bundle. In Episode VI, they did change the ending when they showed all three (Yoda, OBE Wan and Dart Vader) during the celebration, they substituted Anakin which looks funny from the original. Other than that, the movies are great and worth the sale price.

So glad I finally purchased the full set on bluray, you never know the difference between DVD and bluray until you watch an epic series like Star Wars. And all the extra features and deleted scenes are a hugeeee plus. Love it! And I love best buy! They always take care of their customers, at least they've always taken care of me, honestly!

For any of us old enough to have been around when the first movie was released, and who followed the franchise through all these many years, this is a great set. One for the archive, when the grandkids grow up.

This is a great collection for those that are looking to watch these on Blu-Ray and catch up before the new movie comes out. The picture and audio is amazing on all of these. I can't speak for the extra content and commentary since I haven't had the time to watch those. I would say if you already own these on Blu-Ray then you can skip this set. However I do feel that $89 is a steal for all 6 movies and all the additional content. Also the packaging is great and it comes with a nice booklet with pictures etc.

After compiling a collection of individual DVDs I wanted to have the complete set on blu ray. Was debating going with the individual trilogies to save a couple dollars but went with this because of the added features (mainly the documentaries included). This doesn't disappoint, and the cover artwork is awesome too.

I had planned to buy just the trilogy sets, as they can be found for less. But I got this full set for about the same price, got extra bonus disks, and it will take up less room on the shelf. More compact, great looking package. Makes a great gift!

I received this as a gift, and I'm very happy that I did! I've never owned all Star Wars films at once until now, and on Blu-Ray. One important thing to note is that Episodes IV-VI are not the original versions and instead the remasters. This personally does not sway me one way or another, but it may upset some.

It's really cool to finally have all of these movies on blu ray. They look and sound great. I really enjoy the extra features too! If you're really in to behind the scenes and deleted scenes, commentary and how they make all the models and sets and music then shelling out the extra money is worth it for this set!

I could probably go on and on about how this is different and that is different for each movie, but I'm not. I wanted all 6 of the movies on Blu-Ray as my DVD versions looked horrible. I went to my local Best Buy, picked them up, got them home and started watching. It's Star Wars, not much else to say about it.
