The most remarkable 4K box set ever created.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Granted. Some of these films in the Star Wars collection are not as good as some of the others but the quality of the 4K discs makes up for it. In some cases I am seeing these films in a new light and must confess that the prequels in the set look much better to me than they did when I saw the blu ray or regular DVD versions or even in the theaters. The packaging is simple and it is easy to access the discs than it is in other box sets I have purchased. I was very pleased with this set and hope that there will be equally great box sets of The Hobbit and the Lord of the Rings collections when they come out hopefully later this year. I strongly recommend this Star Wars box set.

Box had a blemish and movie discs too hard remove
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I would've given 5 stars, but the outter-black box had a blemish on it and either the shipper or company used something like a Sharpie to cover it up. THIS REALLY upsets me!!!! Has nothing to do with the movies, but I DIDN'T want a blemish that was covered up by the seller or company trying to hide a blemish. The discs are extremely hard to pull out the movies out of the sleeves in the inner box. To prevent fingerprints I use a coin glove. The manufacturer should've included a coin glove to each customer otherwise you'll get fingerprints all over the movie discs pulling them out. Other than the negatives I mentioned the artwork is excellent!!! The box design is great as well.

Large and high quality
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I am not qualified to discuss the quality of the transfers, so I will just be discussing the package as a whole. I recommend Blu-ray.com as a starting point for reviews about the transfers. This is a high quality package that would look nice being displayed but not too cumbersome to store alongside your standard Blu-rays. My biggest complaint is that the sleeves for the individual discs are so snug that you basically have to grab them between two fingers to pull them out. Blu-ray Discs are relative durable, especially compared to DVDs, but it's still annoying at best and concerning at worst, especially for a set of this size and price. That being said, at really any regular discount, this is the most cost-effective way to acquire the entirety of the Skywalker Saga. Let's just hope they don't decide to do another trilogy and this set becomes obsolete.

Many reasons you might want this set
||Posted . Owned for 3 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The definitive Skywalker Saga collection. Yes you can stream the movies, but there is more here. Life long fans may choose to purchase this because you have it in every other format so why not this one. Original VHS, Special Effects VHS, DVD, so why not add 4K? There is also the background art for those who want a touch of something to fill in the gaps, along with the bonus material. Finally, maybe you are one of those like me who thinks maybe it will not always be available for streaming so I would rather own it to know I have it. There are many reasons why you might choose this set and I don't think you will be disappointed in the packaging.

4K Star Wars Skywalker Saga
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Just received this before Christmas via Shipt service. Came promptly and the box was in perfect condition. I have watched first 3 episodes to no problems at all whatsoever. I love the picture so far, some darks a bit too dark for my liking but adjusted a few tv settings around and looks great. The box itself the discs are all very tight in the inserts but I think that makes it safe. The artwork is beautiful. So many extras on 9 additional discs to watch as well at some point. It really stands out on a bookshelf and it’s as complete of a set you can possibly get on the market at the moment. It’s awesome.

The Best Way to Own for Collectors
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a very handsomely designed box set. The custom art on each page look fantastic, although I would have liked different images for Episode 1 and Episode 5. The artwork in the 2011 box set is overall better. The discs are a little touchy to get out of the sleeves but with repeated use it gets easier. Overall, it's a nicely put together package with outstanding value. All the movies in the Skywalker saga in 4K! And the transfers look amazing. Easily the best they've ever looked at home. Even though it isn't the theatrical cuts, these editions were still overseen by Lucas, so to me it's better because it's how he intended them to be seen, Maklunky and all!

I don't have a bad feeling about this.
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Having seen all of these films multiple times, there was no doubt in my mind that eventually, they would all be boxed together. So I waited. Decades. Saw them all in the theaters, saw some of them on Beta, VHS, Laserdisc, DVD, Blu-ray, and now 4K. Now my wait was over. That said, individual film reviews notwithstanding, that it was well worth the wait. Nice package and they all look great. My only complaint is that the discs can be a bit difficult to remove from the sleeves without getting fingerprints on them. So keep a microfiber cloth handy. Other than that, may the set be with you. Always.

Best collection for Star Wars fans!
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The case and artwork book are really nice and the letter signed by Mark Hamill adds a nice touch to the collection. The discs are very hard to take out. It took me a very long time to carefully take out the discs without damaging the book pages. Taking the discs in and out of the pages will cause wear and damage to the artwork pages and scratch the discs over time. I recommend getting the Atlantic - Disc Manager from Best Buy to store the discs. It will store the discs without scratching them and the artwork book pages won’t get damaged trying to take the discs in and out. I enjoyed watching all nine movies, the video quality and sound was great.

A must buy for Star Wars fans
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.First off, to have the original trilogy in 4K is fantastic. Yes, it's yet another iteration of them, but still fantastic nonetheless. Hopefully the original theatrical versions will become available at some point. But this box set has it all. All 9 films in 4K and blu-ray. Hours upon hours of bonus behind the scenes material. The packaging is just beautiful and top notch. While it may be a little pricey, the box set cost is actually cheaper than buying them all on 4K individually, unless you don't want all 9 films. Terrific set cant go wrong with this purchase.

This is an immersive set.
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a great set for any Star Wars fan that wants to upgrade to the physical 4K versions of the core Star Wars films. There are a great amount of extras included, but not all of the extras are the same from the previous Blu-Ray editions of the first two trilogies. If you are a completest, you may want to hang on to the previous versions. The 4K transfers are excellent. However, if you are looking for the original theatrical versions of the original trilogy, they are not here. Also not included are the 4K versions of Rogue One and Solo. Those are sold separately. Overall, this is a great addition to the Starwars collection.

Virtually everything all in one place
||Posted . Owned for 3 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Missing the one-off movies (Solo and Rogue One), and some of the scenes have been updated yet again (I'll leave it to you to find a definitive listing), but the main films all shine here in one handy set. Wish the two Ewok tv movies would get the blu-ray treatment, as well as the full Holiday Special (for all its quirkiness, it's a time capsule of the day for back then). For those that have none of the movies, this is a great to have most of them. For those that have double and triple dipped (etc.) across different media types, it's a nice update, especially if you had not gotten 4k updates along the way.

Star Wars Skywalker Saga in 4K at last.
||Posted . Owned for 8 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The most popular saga in film history is available to own for a modest price in a handsome collectible box. Audio and Video quality is excellent. The original trilogy includes the scenes added in 1997 plus all the newer material added for the 2012 BluRay release. Includes 27 discs total ( 9 UHD discs, 9 Blu Ray features, and 9 BluRay discs featuring previously released bonus features. The only thing missing that should have been included was the bonus disc that included all the parody and music video material that was included in the Saga Collection that was released in 2012.

BEST MOVIE COLLECTION OF ALL TIME!!!!!
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have been waiting for this 4K movie collection to come out. nice art work and photos on the inside for each movie I still remember watching a new hope on the hood of my patients car at the local drive in movie theater, I cannot wait to watch them all in 4K with my kids and grand kids.

The best the saga has looked.
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. You can directly compare online screenshots of Episodes 4-6 to the older blu-rays and dvd's at a website called caps-a-hoilc to see for yourselves how much better those episodes look now. The book that comes with this and Hamill's letter is worth the price. Having all of the MAIN films here in one set is class. The cover art of the death star is also slightly reflective. In a somewhat dark room with it on the shelf you will notice it slightly glows at certain angles. Episodes 1-3 are VERY similar to how they looked on the previous blu rays. The big upgrades you will see here are to Episodes 4-7. 4k all the way!

Love the Films, Love the Picture, Love the Set!
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The "Star Wars" films mean a great deal to me and my life. I literally grew up with this series and have seen every film in theaters upon original release. They're not all perfect films. Heck, some of them aren't even really good. But they're still all part of a story and saga that changed the lives of me and many in my generation. That said, the films have NEVER looked or sounded better. Sure, the original trilogy has been tweaked and messed with by Lucas, but they're still amazing to watch in 4K. And the bonus features are nothing short of spectacular. Highly recommend this set for fans and devotees, alike!

The Most Desired Box Set Ever!
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Yep! You read that right. Make no mistake about it this is the most coveted 4K box set of all time! The Original Trilogy with Special Edition effects have never looked so good. Yes you need to crank the Atmos audio track up, but if you collect Disney 4Ks by now you should be used to that. Only reason I did not give this a 5-star review is because they really didn't take care of the video appearance of The Phantom Menace. It really looked no better than the Blu-ray edition. And lastly I HATE trying to get the discs out of these cardboard sleeves. They are impossibly TIGHT and virtually impossible to get out without finger prints on the under side of the disc unless you wear gloves or pry them out with a glass cleaner clothes or something. I wish I would have spent the extra $30 and bought them all as individual releases. Sad but true.

Excellent box set!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. You can't go wrong if you are a Star Wars fan with this set. All 9 Star Wars films in stunning 4K quality and Dolby Atmos sound packaged in a limited collector's book plus digital copies of all films in 4K and Dolby Vision made this a no-brainer of a purchase. A New Hope is my favorite Star Wars movie of all time, followed by The Empire Strikes Back; The Force Awakens; The Rise of Skywalker; The Return of the Jedi; The Last Jedi; The Phantom Menace; The Revenge of the Sith and finally, Attack of the Clones. All movies look and sound great, especially episodes 7-9. Highly recommended!

Nice Boxset for an Amazing Sci-Fi Journey
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The front image of the Death Star makes for a good display of the box. I like that the box ends slide open like a theater curtain, revealing the movie case inside. And it is great that the box ends do not come off, stopping at the end. The inside cover concept artwork of each movie is a neat touch as you flip through the journey as you're watching each movie. It would have been nice to have slightly looser disc sleeves since everything is incased. As well as, protected disc sleeves to feel comfortable that your investment won't scratch as you enjoy it. Overall, a very nice boxset.

Great if you missed the previous releases
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The quality is outstanding in regards to the video, audio and packaging. I’m a huge fan of box sets and I’ve even collected the Star Wars saga many times on VHS and dvd over the years but this one takes the cake. The obvious negative here is the lack of the original theatrical cuts with a proper official restoration but if you’ve accepted the fact that we’ll probably won’t see that happen for a while longer then this set is all yours. The shipping sadly resulted in this set getting a 4/5 stars from me for the damaged outer sleeve of the box. The corners were crunch pretty good which is disappointing given the really high price point. Still though, if you have the money, lack the saga on video or you’re just a big fan of this series like me then I highly recommend it. May the force be with you. Always.

a set worth having
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love movies. and these movies are Great Quality. i spent 4 hours tuning my Atmos system up and re-calibrating the speakers. the picture quality and Sound is amazing, worth every penny for me. the design of the dvd holder is pretty unique, but the it is very hard to get the dvd's out as they insert into the top of the book which is conveniently in move order not release order. i wish it came with little dvd insert areas for moveis like Solo, rouge one. this way we could add them to the ordered picture book. I think the price is a bit steep. but i am very satisfied.
