I love movies. and these movies are Great Quality. i spent 4 hours tuning my Atmos system up and re-calibrating the speakers. the picture quality and Sound is amazing, worth every penny for me. the design of the dvd holder is pretty unique, but the it is very hard to get the dvd's out as they insert into the top of the book which is conveniently in move order not release order. i wish it came with little dvd insert areas for moveis like Solo, rouge one. this way we could add them to the ordered picture book. I think the price is a bit steep. but i am very satisfied.

First things first: I deducted a star for a couple reasons. One is that this 27 disc blu-ray Star Wars set is very expensive. The second is that the shipping box in which it was sent was flimsy and nearly broke open in transit. And the third is that while an attractive display, the book's sleeves for holding the discs are very tight and make me worry about damaging them when removing them. Every disc removal results in fingerprints that need to be cleaned off before playing.
Otherwise though, although I haven't viewed the entire set of films, it looks good. The 4k transfers are quite well done even going all the way back to A New Hope (Ep 4). And the collectable book is very well done, along with the slide-to-open main box.
Generally thumbs up, although some may wish to wait until there's a sale.

Video and sound is great. The first 6 were the last to have Lucas' last edits and tweeks which is somewhat disappointing as it's also missing the unedited version we saw when first released. It's the same versions streaming on Disney+ but at a much higher bit rate since it's on a disc.
Would have loved a 4k version that didn't have added scenes or alterations Lucas did after it was released but I still love the set.
Can't comment on anything for episodes 7 to 9 as I haven't watched the Disney trilogy from this set yet, just the prequel and original trilogies so far.

Great movies. Bad packaging.

The 4K transfers of the Star Wars episodes 1-9 look better than ever. That said, the packaging leaves a LOT to be desired. Instead of standard plastic cases that the discs clip into by their centers, this set uses cardboard sleeves built into each page of the included art book. These sleeves are TIGHT. On one hand, this keeps the discs from accidentally sliding out. On the other hand, it is virtually impossible to get a disc out of it without getting fingerprints on the back of it. I think it was fingerprints that caused my ESB disc to freeze twice (for several minutes) during the Yoda's hut scenes.
So, the set looks great and is slightly cheaper than buying the movies individually. But whether it is worth it for the potential risk of damage to the discs is something you'll need to decide.

We already had all of the movies, but not all were in 4K. The only oddity was when I redeemed the digital copies. I had to redeem each one individually. That's 9 codes instead of 1 code. When I got to the movie I already had in 4K, it said I couldn't redeem the code. There are 27 discs, 1 Blu-Ray disc and 1 4K disc for each movie, plus a disc of extras. I was a little disappointed that I didn't see "director's cut" or deleted scenes. I've read online that there was a cut of Rise of Skywalker that was over 3 hours, so I expected to see some deleted scenes.

The box set arrived on time which was release day. Read reviews where people had issues with the sleeve on the box leaving a mark on the box due to the adhesive sticky on the back. Fortunately I did not have an issue with it. The movies are great both visually and sonically. The discs are contained in a cardboard sleeve part of the pages of the inside book. They are hard to get out but they will definitely not fall out. My only issue is that to get the discs out you end up getting fingerprints on them which come off quite easily with a soft cloth. I am quite happy.

This is a nice set. It has the good Star Wars movies as well as the ones I am only buying because they come with the good ones. There are 3 disc per movie, a 4K edition, a Blu-ray edition and a special features disc. It will take me quite a while to watch everything!
My only gripe is that the discs are stored tightly in cardboard slots. unless you wear gloves, it is impossible to avoid putting a fingerprint on the disc when you pull it out. That is still better than them being loosely stored where they could fall out.

Beautifully designed box set with incredible picture quality and sound. Almost all extras from the previous blu-ray set have been ported over. Although comprehensive, the set is not without its faults. Episode 1 and 2 look less than stellar due to the nature of how the movies were filmed and completed in post-production. This is especially true with Phantom Menace as all film grain was scrubbed after the initial release. Once you move past these, expect stellar picture and audio quality.
One additional note: although Blu-ray Discs were designed to be resistant to scratches, the packaging may leave minor scratches on the discs. I had to return my initial set due to scratches on 4 of the discs that caused disc skipping. The second set did not share this issue.

Finally, the entire Skywalker Saga is complete! I eagerly anticipated this set. While the quality of the discs is excellent, some things bother me. First off, the set is such an awkward shape. It really doesn’t fit anywhere. Second, it is difficult to actually open it. I had to look up YouTube videos to see how to open the set. Third, it is extremely difficult to remove the discs. I took them all out to make sure they were all included, but once I got them out, I put the 4K discs in jewel cases so that I wouldn’t have to get them out of the set again. Lastly, although the original The Last Jedi release was in Dolby Vision, this set is only HDR10. Regardless, if you love Star Wars, this is a collectible.

It's the entire Star Wars collection (minus Solo and Rogue One) in 4K, what else is there to say?! OIther than I wish it had Solo and Rogue One! But I can live with that. Sound and picture are fantastic, and the box set and artwork really completes it nicely. It's nice to have it all in one place. The only complaint is the discs are very hard to get out of the pockets without putting smudges all over everything. So make sure you have something grippy to get them out with!

I'm sure you already know this does not contain the original SW cuts so I won't get into that travesty, and you can easily read reviews on the 4k transfer, so I'll just address the case. A nice set overall, but could have been much better. The artwork is so-so and the discs are kind of difficult to remove. I have countless collectors editions of other series with better artwork, case, and a cheaper price. Hell, I have countless (normal) anime blu-rays with way better art.
tl;dr overpriced, lackluster art, difficult case. Still, if you're a diehard fan like I am, it's worth it to have a complete set in 4k like this.

What is there to say? You either like Star Wars or you don't. I would love to have the original trilogy in 4k (before Lucas revised it) but who knows when that will happen, until then, this is a must own set.
All 9 films have been givien an awesome Dolby Atmos mix, the audio alone is worth the upgrade imo. The 4k video masters are all upgrades over their previous blu-ray predecessors, to varioua degrees depending on the films of course. This is a beautiful collector's edition. I just wish the discs were a little easier to get out of the cardboard sleeves.

Great Movies, Poor Case

I love the movies...The 4k, the digital codes; the artwork on the "pages" of the book the disks are in is very pretty. However, why would Best Buy put glue on the cardboard info thats part of the packaging? That leaves a mark on the special edition case...part of a very expensive set. Also, whoever designed the book that the disks are in should not have chosen low end cardboard. The "page" of one of the movies came in already fraying (the layers of the cardboard separating on the top corner). The top corner edges on some are slightly bent. Then there's the fact that you can't get the disks out without getting fingerprints on them because of the way they fit in the sleeve built into the "page". I know this is nitpicking, but again this was a very expensive set.

Initially I had bought the collection and had to exchange it as the package came damaged. I had to explain it to the store and they almost didn’t take it back. How can you buy something that’s meant for collectors and come damaged? At the end of the day they exchanged and I was very pleased. The packing is amazing having the Death Star as the cover and all the artwork inside. You’ll definitely enjoy this collection!

I just received my The Skywalker Saga 4K Blu ray set, and I couldn't be happier with it has everything I could want as a near life long STAR WARS fan could want, and with all of the Episodes in stunning and grand 4k resolution. I can't wait to dive into all of the extras and behind the scenes docs. I love this set!!!

It is pricey, but I think the price is acceptable for what you get. I did get it on sale for $200 ($50 off) on the May 4. You get all 9 episodes on 4K and blu ray, each with a bonus blu ray disc. The discs are kind of hard to take out, but it’s not a big deal. Each movie is a “page” in the book and shows of beautiful concept art for the movie. The McQuarrie pictures for the original trilogy specifically are beautiful. The rise of Skywalker picture really stands out and is gorgeous. The letter from Mark Hamill is a very nice touch.

When I first heard that this was coming out and on my birthday of March 31st,I had to have it.After I purchased it,I was overwhelmed with the whole package,an excellent purchase for a 27 disc set for $250 was well worth it.There's only one major problem, the original uncut,no extra footage versions of the original trilogy are NOT included with this set, you'd think they would be with the price of this. But,it's still a great buy and the movies look spectacular, especially in 4K and the audio in Dolby Atmos, blows away anything out there.

This complete collector’s edition of the Star Wars Skywalker Saga in 4K UHD was worth it for having the ultimate Star Wars experience in an extremely nice package. All nine films are here in exquisite ultra high definition with the added bonus of digital copies that can be watched on virtually any streaming device. This set does not contain the untouched original trilogy; however, for completists, it’s a fantastic addition to your collection. There are additional bonus discs packed with many behind the scenes extras as well.

This is an amazing set for collectors and the letter from Mark Hamill is so sweat. All the artwork is beautiful and vivid.
I love that this includes pretty much every way you want to watch it, DvD, Blu-ray and even the digital. Makes it even better for avid starwars fans. I marathoner all the movies as soon as I got it and am currently working my way through the vast amount of bonus features.
My only concern is how well the cardboard will hold up against time, but I think it should be fine provided my kids don't touch it.

Well, it's Star Wars, so you know the story. While the saga has been released in probably dozens of platforms and formats, 4k is the way to go. Though you can always catch the movies on TV or streaming, I love to have a physical copy, because you never know. The book and extras are great, as well.
