Finally broke down and purchased the originals on DVD. Happy with the purchase, just wish they would make the original theatrical versions available. Not a fan of the additional scenes.

I already have the VCR tapes but wanted the disk version.

"Star Wars" original space trilogy is the BEST epic space adventure of all time! The special effect still hold up today and the quality is absolutely AMAZING on Blu Ray discs played on a Samsung 4K TV! This series has got it all ... FUN, MYSTERY, SCI-FI, ACTION, SPACE BATTLES, COMEDY, DRAMA ... George Lucas did an amazing job creating these movies, obviously with the help of many many talented people in all the areas of film-making, the costumes are amazing, the special effects are amazing, the script is very well written, the actors all did an incredible job! I would definitely recommend STAR WARS TRILOGY to anyone who hasn't yet seen it, but I don't know anyone who hasn't. But if you haven't seen it on BLU RAY on a Samsung 4K TV you're missing out because it's really MIND BLOWING !!!

I was looking for the original original movies without the new scenes but I guess you can only find them on vhs. These movies are the best quality you can get.

Nuff said about the movie. Simply refer to the title and know it is a sci-fi classic on many different areas regarding movie categories (i.e. filming, special effects, acting, scripts, music scores, etc.). Best Buy, Garner, NC location has consistently had floor staff who are professional, not pushy to further unnecessary additional item suggestions, aware of the inventory and respective need of an item's location, and interacted well and appropriately with my young children too. Price comparison while in the store found the item to be priced comparable to local area brick and mortar stores, as well as meeting online pricing for competitors too.

You cant go wrong with the original Star Wars film starting in 1977 with Star Wars.......George Lucas is some kind of WIZ KID at the Directors Chair bringing this Old Fashioned Flash Gordon Fairy-Tale a slick modernized Special Effects makeover that would revolutionize the "Blockbuster Film"......if you are a fan of pure fantasy escapism this is the film for you...........but strap yourself in because the sequel from 1980,The Empire Strikes Back is arguably the BEST of this Trilogy as the Action never lets up.........finally Return Of The Jedi satisfies the appetite for a happy ending,completing a most enjoyable three film journey that any Sci-Fi Fantasy fan would die for......May The Force Be With You indeed!!.....5 STARS out of 5 STARS
